The newest addition to Whales of Iceland is the Fin Whale Room, which highlights the various threats (and their solutions) that whales and other marine life face today. This is an excellent way to learn more about the oceans and raise awareness of these issues.

Housing 23 real-life scale models of various whale species discovered around Iceland, each is a replica of a specific whale residing in the wild. The museum showcases soundscapes and lighting mimicking underwater environment, several engaging activities, and a fresh display focusing on the challenges whales encounter nowadays (also featuring potential solutions). The documentary Sonic Sea is available for viewing four times in a day. All ticket holders are entitled to guided tours at two timings - 11:00 and 15:00 every day.
