Unmissable! - Presumably you’re into whales if you visit and this was such a fantastic experience. Well curated, beautiful life size replicas really show off the stunning scale of these mesmerising creatures. The in-house cinema shows two films - one is 50 minutes and one is 60. If you time things well and watch both the trip could last for about 3h but with only seeing one we spent about 1h40 inside. Plenty for kids to do - colouring, quizzes and origami. A lot of love and passion has gone into putting this museum together. Definitely a highlight of our trip.

Amazing cast of Characters - The wind prevented going out in a boat to see whales today, so we went to the museum. In addition to seeing life sized whales, there is an extremely informative movie about whale behavior, thinking and emotions. So glad we went!

Interesting exhibition! - Beautiful, well-kept exhibition of impressive animals. Thanks to many options to choose an appropriate language, you get a clear explanation. Still, we found the visit a bit (too?) expensive.

Nice museum. If you have a choice between the fly over Iceland or the nearby lava museum - Nice museum. Has loads of huge fiberglass whales. Good information and fun things for kids. Takes about an hour to an hour and a half.
