Reykjanes Peninsula - A volcano erupted about 19 miles (30 km) from Iceland’s city, Reykjavik. This is the third time in the last two years that this area has seen an eruption. This eruption brings both amazing natural events and worries for the people who live nearby. Let us find out more about what is going on with this volcano.

Only five or six seats per craft will be available, ensuring a spectacular perspective and an intimate interaction with the volcano. Please remember that eruptions are a natural occurrence that may or may not be active during your visit.

Before this eruption, the Reykjanes peninsula witnessed such eruptions in the 14th century AD. More Interestingly, some 50000 earthquake jolts have taken place following this eruption.

Reykjavik - You will get to see an immense view of Reykjavik city itself. Find yourself passing through the vast sapphire and aquamarine ocean (Faxaflói Bay), engulfing the city shore and colorful settlements dotting the vast Arctic.

Thrill of a Lifetime - This was hands down the coolest thing I have ever done. Have never been in a helicopter. Mario flew us right over the lava fields (close to ground) and up around the volcanoes. It was an eerie scene as we await volcanic activity in the coming weeks. Thank you Mario!

Thrill of my life - Found this service to be extremely professional and informative, had the thrill of my life riding with them, especially when the pilot hovered inside the extinct volcano’s crater, a life time experience! I can recommend this to anyone that likes these kind or tours!

10 stars! - We booked last minute evening for the next day. Everything was super easy. The pilot greeted us personally and introduced himself, after which we started immediately. In the helicopter can accommodate up to 5 people and the pilot, in front can sit one person with the best view, on the back row are four seats. The flight over the volcanoes and the lava fields was breathtaking, even though the current volcano had unfortunately stopped its activity a week earlier. Our pilot Thomas flew so that everything (even from the inner seats) was very easy to see and we were able to take many beautiful photos. The special highlight was the landing on an old lava field, which is probably not planned for every flight. This was the pilot's gift to a passenger who happened to have a birthday. All in all, this flight was an indescribable and unforgettable experience that we would not want to miss and can only highly recommend. Thank you Thomas for this unique experience!

Only way to experience active volcano! - This was an opportunity to see an active vent, dormant volcanos and the immense lava fields closer than you can get on the ground. The pilot pointed out things, and answered questions, but did not keep up the endless chatter so common on tours. He let us marvel and appreciate! Can’t wait to return and do their full-day tour.

Lava! - The lava! It was amazing to see the lava flowing and bubbling in the crater. The pilot was very helpful in giving us all the angles for great pictures.

Good flight wrong branding - The helicopter tour of an eruption area wasn’t fantastic. It was pretty average, but it’s branded to give you the impression that it is an active volcano, which it is not currently. The helicopter ride itself was great. The pilot was fantastic and answered any questions we had. To sum it up it’s a 250 dollar helicopter ride being sold for 533 dollars.
