Cold but lovely 2-3 hour tour - There are many options for Northern Light excursions from the city but we picked this over bus tours as we were staying close to the harbor. We had to reschedule due to weather for the last outing of the season, but they made it super easy so if you have more than one night in town give yourself some buffer and you may get lucky :) Thanks to the crew for a lovely outing!

Disappointed through no fault of the tour guides. - I can not fault the service provided, I’m just disappointed we didn’t get to see the lights. And I won’t be able to make use of the free return trip as I go home tomorrow. Otherwise very professional and a good trip.

Lovely - It’s a hit or miss with the lights but it’s uncontrollable. Everything else is great, the boat, the variety of drinks. We had dinner at the Old harbor house which was delicious! I would recommend especially if you don’t get to see the lights they give you up to 3 years to rebook for free.

Not as wonderful as guide made out - Whilst the tour was well organised and on a very large/nice boat. however we were unlucky and hardly got to see the lights (very very very faint whilst squinting eyes and having to use lots of imagination). Main gripe was guide telling everyone what great views and experience we all had as obviously not wanting to offer a repeat opportunity to see them properly.

Disappointed - Unfortunately didn’t get to see the light and have emailed today to arrange booking again for tomorrow as I return home to England on Friday and haven’t heard anything yet

An Ok trip - We booked this trip after seeing the reviews, it was an ok trip. It was a chilly two hours, they played music and had a bar which was nice. The only way to see the coastline was by being outside, unfortunately the way the seating worked it was difficult to see the view from the seats. We didn’t see the northern lights but of course that’s down to Mother Nature.

What Could Have Been... - After getting postponed the night before due to snow, we were hopeful that the clear skies the next night would bring us some action! Sadly, not a light of the northern variety was to be seen. =( The guide tried hard to keep our hopes up, but it just wasn't happening. The deck was insanely slippery, so we didn't stay out long staring into the darkening sadness. The bulk of our 2 hours was spent sitting "inside" where there wasn't a door to trap the heat in. (The Christmas lights were nice though!) I think we'll do a bus tour next time. ;)
