Unforgettable - Review for the Northern Lights Bus Tour
I recently went on the Northern Lights bus tour, and it was nothing short of spectacular! From start to finish, it was a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable experience.
Our guide, Daniel, was absolutely fantastic—both informative and amusing. He shared fascinating facts about the Northern Lights, the local area, and the science behind the phenomenon, all while keeping us entertained with his great sense of humor. His passion and enthusiasm truly added to the experience.
The evening itself was magical. We were treated to stunning, breathtaking sights of the Northern Lights that felt almost otherworldly. It was a deeply moving experience to witness such natural beauty. The team went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well cared for, even providing us with hot chocolate and lighting a cozy fire to keep us warm.
Though it was a long evening—about five hours—it was fantastic value for the price. Every moment was worth it, and the memories will stay with me forever. This tour is highly, highly recommended for anyone wanting to see the Northern Lights in the best way possible. Truly a spectacular evening!

It’s a gamble, but can pay off. - This is hit or miss. I thought it was a miss despite perfect conditions, but the guide persevered and I got to see the northern lights for the first time in my life. The clear starry arctic sky is pretty in any case.

Tour guide was fantastic,... - Tour guide was fantastic, he was really friendly, funny and informative. We got to stand by a fire and have some hot chocolate towards the end of the tour as we waited to see the northern lights, and I was able to book onto another tour as we didn't quite get to see it the first time round.

Beautiful night even without northern lights - The loading on the buses was very confusing. Lots of people waiting for 8:30 bus.
I was very impressed with the careful driving but I am sorry I forgot his name. Iga was a very cheerful guide.

Good tour - We went on this tour twice. Both very different experiences. The first tour we went on (Dec 7th, 9:30pm) the tour guide was very bored, sleepy and unenthusiastic. He talked very slowly and was very pessimistic. It was good him being realistic but consistently saying that it’s cloudy wasn’t enjoyable. Even though we didn’t get to see the northern lights, I was more disappointed that the tour guide didn’t try to make our experience fun. Also, the process of calling everyone’s names out to hop on the bus, wasn’t efficient at all.
The second tour we went on (Dec 9th, 9:30pm). The tour guide David, was enthusiastic and really knowledgeable. It was much more fun experiencing the tour where the tour guide wants us to have an enjoyable time (whether we see the lights or not). We were really lucky and got to see the northern lights! The hot chocolate was also really yummy. We didn’t expect the cup to be so small though!

Ok Trip - Our first tour was cancelled but managed to rebooked really easy.
The tour was ok. We drove round various locations trying to find the lights, which we did eventually find on our last stop.
The tour guide was ok but didn’t really tell us much about the northern lights he was more interested in telling us his life story and singing songs which was a shame.
Our bus had 65 people on it which was a lot this made the tour longer than it needed to be as we kept having to wait for people.
The hot chocolate was a disappointment as there wasn’t enough for everyone not enough cups or drink.
Not sure if I would spend the money on this trip when you can see the lights from the town.
