Highly recommended tour - Our tour guide Stefan was extremely kind and informative, he explained everything about the northern lights and Iceland and it’s rich history and culture. All of the northern lights tours were cancelled but we were more than happy to have picked this northern lights + geothermal bath combo tour. Our visit to the fontana bath was great! We were extremely lucky as the northern lights showed up while we were in the warm water looking at the stars. WHAT AN AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL SPECTACLE! After the bath we got on the bus again and aimed to catch more aurora borealis but unfortunately we didn’t get to see them again on the night. After all, nature is nature and you can’t control weather. I highly recommend taking this combined tour as you will always have the chance to experience what we lived on our first night/time to Iceland.

Perfect tour - The tour was done in a small group, which we didn't know but was a great surprises. The spa by the lake is amazing and very relaxing (we saw the moon rise by the lake) and the northern lights hunt afterwards is a great adventure even without seeing the lights. Stefan, our guide, made is extra special by giving great information and stopping at several points, so it was thrilling. Seeing the lights is not guaranteed, of course, but we see them and it was spectacular!

Magical night! - I recommend this trip so much! We were in the bath while it was snowing, it was amazing! And then the sky cleared up and we were able to see the magic Auroras! Plus, Stefan was a super guide, very nice, he takes pictures of you, knows his job well and is passionate about it! Thank you, it was a wonderful evening!

Northern Lights Tour - Stefan gave an excellent tour, explaining everything very clearly. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Even though the northern lights didn’t show up for us, Stefan made the trip very enjoyable.

Lovely baths and a great guide - We took this tour as part of a pre-Christmas visit to Iceland. We unfortunately didn't see the Northern Lights, but the Fontana baths were wonderful and our driver Stefan was a delight throughout.

Amazing start to our holiday in Iceland - Absolutely loved this trip! This was the first excursion we booked in Iceland and I cannot recommend it enough. Not sure if it’s always like this but for us, as this trip had only been booked by a few people, we then got a small group northern light tour after the baths which was sooooo much nicer than the large standard northern lights tour that we did the following day. In the smaller group they drive you around and you “chase” the lights more which increases your chances of seeing them. Fontana wellness was also incredible - multiple hot baths to choose from at different temperatures, as well as a sauna and three steam rooms. The views were incredible. 10/10 recommend

Very relaxing spa experience - No Northern Lights due to the weather but the Fontana spa was fantastic - the only reason I didn’t give five stars is because we needed more time there!

Great experience with small shortcomings - So the baths experience, the dinner and the northern lights were all fantastic but I really wish the excursion was longer to afford more time to eat and enjoy the buffet upon arrival as well experience the geothermal baths without feeling rushed. Trying the Icelandic rye bread that they bake in the ground using geothermal heat was a highlight and probably the most delicious bread I have or will ever taste. We did catch an extremely faint glimpse of the northern lights but nothing dramatic like you associate with most photographs but that was entirely due to a lack of solar wind on that particular night. The clarity of the starry sky made up for that and was quite beautiful. Only complaint was the rushed feeling of the dinner and the baths experience but the quality of both experiences was still very good.

Could be better - I loved the experience itself. But for the price it's a bit of a downer. We payed around 520 euro together. For that we had rough pickups at bus stop 12, and we had to stand in the bus. And the busses to Blue Lagoon were old and without any support. I noticed that it's cheaper to order the Lagoon tickets and transfer separately. And if you put a Northern Light trip next to that as well its even cheaper. The Northern Light tour made up for that. But still, it's a huge organization. While eleven busses went all to the same location, with some explanation about the northern lights. We ended up with hundreds of people standing on the same parking lot in pingvellir. On top of that we had the opportunity to have two tours with two different tour operators. Reykjavik excursions and bustravel Iceland. In our opinion the last one exceeded our expectations. Good bus, happy guides, friendly staff, good driver, right on time and well organized. While Reykjavik excursions felt more like just a bus operator, and no tour operator. In my opinion, if you need to choose between one or the other i would recommend bustravel Iceland. They showed more personal service and a better organization.
