Fabulous trip - The pick up was on time and fast to the transfer point. The ride was smooth and driver knowledgeable about the event. The location chosen was perfect for the viewing. We actually made it back to the hotel earlier than expected.

Awesome, once in a lifetime experience! - The bus took us about an hour away - away from the lights of the city. The northern lights were unbelievable! Got lots of great pictures.

We saw the lights - Our first time out we were not able to see any lights. The company did great and let's you book again, at no extra cost, to try to see them. We got lucky and saw the Northern Lights. Definately do the Reykjavik Excursion museum before going. There is a poster there on what setting are best to take pics with your camera. The setting worked wonderfully!

Northern lights - The small group tour for the Northern Lights was great compared to the large bus tour. We did both and the big bus was impersonal and because 4-5 large buses meet at the viewing site it is chaotic. Also the locations the big bus goes isn’t as remote ergo not as dark as the small group tour. Our guide on the small tour was excellent and he knew how to find the northern lights. It was awesome to see them develop from a wisp to very dark green with some purple/pink.

Was Good Could be Better - This was a large tour bus and we only made 1 stop. I liked the history and information provided on the tour. It did feel mass produced. I prefer the smaller tours. Also for the charge of the ticket the food could have been included. We did see the northern lights, but there were too many people to fully enjoy it.

Travel bus nightmare - The bus left late looking for passengers. Then we got to the site. Then it took us a long time to leave looking for passengers who switched with another bus passenger. Then when we go to our drop off at the cruise terminal, me and another passenger have to walk in the cold and went around to get into our cruise ship.

Two Very Different Northern Lights Tours - Booked two different tours during the span of a week. The first tour was with Robbie and was exceptional. Robbie was engaged and took the time to talk about Iceland, the Northern Lights, and where we were going and why. The second tour was with a woman, if she let us know her name I missed it. She was far from engaged, talked little on the tour other than logistical stuff and did not talk about the Northern Lights at all. It was a bus ride. The difference between the two tours was night and day - Robbie's tour was a 5. The other tour a 1. And yes we saw the Northern Lights on both tours.

Not a good tour - Right from pick up we felt underwhelmed. Staff were very disorganised..unfriendly..stressed. We were driven 20mins to a truck stop to view the northern lights. We were on the main road so cars and trucks whizzing past the whole time. Very little interaction with the tour guide. We were then told that the bus couldn't drop us back to our original pick up point so we had to walk back 30mins at 1am . Not impressed.
