An awesome adventure - This trip was absolutely awesome. Hjortur was our guide/driver and he was absolutely the best - super funny and we loved him! He was just as excited about seeing the lights as we were. He was always looking out the window or calling his colleagues looking for the lights. He all of a sudden pulled off road and told us to get out and omg there they were. It was a magical experience. We saw them 3 separate times and they looked different each time. It was just so cool. The hot chocolate was a really nice touch especially because we were so cold. We got back to the hotel at about 1:30am but it was so worth it! The photos were sent the next day and they were great. And there were even horses that came up to us at the first spot.

Amazing Northern Lights Show & Experience - We had the most amazing trip with a guide whose name starts with H. He was very funny. The prior night we had gone out with another company and while we had seen a little bit of lights -- it was crowded with other buses and the guides were not interactive or fun. This night we opted to try the Super Jeep so that we could experience something different. We started later -- which made more sense since the night prior we had waited on the bus in a gas station for it to get dark -- and this enabled us to have a nice dinner before setting out on the tour. While I expected that we would do a bit more driving -- he was in contact with others and watching reports and everything he did worked out. At one point, we drove around just to warm up the jeep and he told us the show would start in 30 mins -- and boy, was he right! We had, what he said, was the best Northern Lights show in weeks. It was absolutely amazing and worth staying out in the freezing cold into the wee hours of the morning. The guide was also extremely good about taking a LOT of pictures. We were a small group and he never stopped taking people's pictures in all different kinds of poses. Definitely recommend this for a different type of experience. You can't be guaranteed lights but I felt like the guide was great either way.

The best Northern Lights hunt! - We visited Iceland for my husband's 50th birthday. We were due to go to the Blue Lahoon but was cancelled due to the seismic activity so I booked the Super Jeep Northern Lights trip instead. We were picked up shortly after 9.30pm in the Super Jeep- which was amazing. Our guide 'H' was excellent. He had a great sense of humour and a really good knowledge of the lights. We drove a relatively short distance and H identified some activity. Hit a slight technical hitch with the Jeep as the passenger door stopped opening so a replacement was called in whilst we waited for the lights to appear. After a short period of time the activity that H identified came to fruition and the lights began to show- mostly white to the naked eye but clearly green on cameras/phones. In addition to photos that we took, H took some as well included some that had us in front of the lights which was greatly appreciated. Hot chocolate and Brennivin was provided which warmed us up and then the replacement Super Jeep arrived. We set off again and only had to go a short distance before we spotted the lights again so a second opportunity to take photos. We returned to the Jeep at midnight and began the journey back to Reykjavik. I can't stress enough just how good this trip was - I suffer from a disability and H assisted me getting off the Jeep, he took care when taking our photos to make sure stayed within my comfort area and also took some great photos of a couple who got engaged whilst we were watching the lights (a great memory for them) as well as keeping us greatly entertained. Have done a number of Northern Lights trips and this was, by far, the very best!

Driver chased the lights between the clouds - Our originally scheduled tour was canceled due to unfavorable conditions to see the lights. Our rescheduled date was a success. "H" took great care to watch the incoming clouds and find a clear spot for lights viewing. It was great to get professional shots to help capture the moment.

Amazing experience - It was a great trip getting to go to the museum before hand to learn about the lights and what other countries thought the lights were. And then we had a great guide who was very knowledgeable and was able to find the gaps in the clouds on a cloudy evening and find the lights. We then had loads of photos taken of us and the sky which we were able to access online the next day. It is 100% worth the extra bit of money spent for a smaller group. All round great experience.

The Northern Lights or The Aurora Borealis - The Northern Lights or The Aurora Borealis is definitely an unforgettable experience. This was our second visit to Iceland in an attempt to see the Lights again. I can highly recommend Artic Adventures and the Super Jeep tour. if you want to ‘CHASE THE LIGHTS’ We were collected from our hotel by our guide at the stated time. Our guide Hjörtur was excellent, whilst leaving the city limits for less light polluted areas he told us all about Aurora Borealis and gave useful tips to chase the Northern Lights! Whilst waiting for the spectacular light show Hjörtur provided us with Hot chocolate and chocolate cakes. Hjörtur found us a perfect spot to sit and wait, and within an hour the magic begun. He even took photos for us with great results. Thank you Hjörtur and Artic Adventures

Amazing! Hjörtur was the best guide! - Our tour guide Hjörtur was super friendly, funny and knowledgeable. We had great luck with the northern lights but I think we had excellent luck with our guide as well! He picked excellent spots (nothing a tour bus could get to!) where the clouds broke at the right time for the lights to shine through and put in extra effort to make sure we got the best views, stopping in 3 places. This was a highlight of our trip. Hjörtur also took great photos for us, much better than our phones could capture, and served us yummy hot chocolate. It really was an excellent experience, once in a lifetime.

Incredible experience! - Had an excellent experience seeing the northern lights! Hjörtur was a brilliant guide, providing commentary on the lights as we began our hunt and then finding a perfect spot to pull over and see them. He is also extremely skilled as a photography and was able to take some stunning photos of the aurora.

This is the best tour to take if you want to see the lights - Our guide shared a lot of information about how he determines when and where the best Northern Lights viewing is likely. In addition, taking the large-wheeled van allowed us to go to more remote places than a large bus can go. I had no expectation that we would actually see the lights, but we did! It was so cool. If you go - dress very warmly because the best time of year to see them is also the coldest, and you really have to stay out for a few hours.

I would have liked more formality - For me it was a bad option, all the agencies canceled because there was no chance of auroras and they left anyway, for my taste to charge for the excursion, they tell you that it is valid for 3 years to return, but most of the people do not They come back, you travel to other parts of the world and you don't repeat. I think it is not a good option as an agency. I sent them an email to repeat the next day and they responded late, meaning they cannot carry out the excursion the next day, they should be more formal when providing a service.
