Fab experience - Great trip to see the Northern Lights. Out to the national park, where it really was dark. The sky was amazing when we stepped off the bus. So clear, could see all the stars. We even managed to see the Northern lights which went on for about 90 minutes. It was so cold though, glad I took a flask. We went in the toilets to warm up and pour our hot choc. Fab experience, would defo recommend 👌

Excellent, friendly, helpful tour guide - an excellent way to see the Northern Lights - We had a fantastic experience with our tour guide Vala. She was welcoming, energetic, and created a great atmosphere of excitement for our first experience of the Northern Lights. She also helped with camera settings for everyone to get the best pictures. Reykjavik Exercursions was wonderful, taking us into the heart of Thingvellir national park to get an excellent view of the aurora. We were comfortable, well looked after, and had plenty of time to enjoy the aurora in an awe-inspiring setting.

Northern Lights Tour - Luckily the Goddess Aurora greeted us right at our arrival and could be seen dancing across the west-sky the entire time until some clouds appeared. Vote for Team: Baldur-Vala-Janiane

Second night success! - This was a free rebooking from the previous night when despite standing outside for an hour and a half the Nothern Lights failed to show. This time, led by Vala they were waiting for us on a really clear night — great for stargazing too, Vala and the team were great, just the right amount of information without speaking just for the sake of it. So the moral is, if at first you don’t succeed take advantage of the free rebooking!

The see you as Money and they don't even try to pretend. - That was the only toyr that was OK, basic but OK. We had a bus and a driver and a guide. We took 3 tours more, all 3 a problem. In Skylagoon they even cancelled the bus we were supposed to take to return so I had to rush, coming out with wet hair which got me high fever and a bronchitis. Of course nobody responded to my complaint e mails.

Disappointing from RE - All other Reykjavik Excursions tour were amazing , sadly except this one. Felt rushed just to get rid of all rescheduled reservations. We barely saw anything and we weren’t taken to the best spot. Was promised hot chocolate drink, we didn’t get any, was supposed to have free entrance to Aurora Reykjavik but was denied entrance cause my tour was rescheduled (quite tricky) . And to end it all, people who stayed in city (at Perlan and Lighthouses) saw the aurora much better than us with the tour :)
