Reykjavík Sightseeing Top Notch Group - Reykjavík Sightseeing is a top notch business. We booked 4 excursions-Golden Circle, Northern Lights, Blue Lagoon and glacier and ice cave, as well as airport pick up and drop off. Everything was exceptional- above and beyond customer service, knowledgeable and entertaining guides, clean vehicles! We highly recommend this company for all sightseeing in Iceland!

Our tour was cancelled... - Our tour was cancelled due to the weather( from what was said I understood that it was unlikely to see northern lights that night) but we managed to reschedule with no issues and went next day. And what a magical experience it was. We watched Aurora dancing in the sky for over an hour, absolutely amazing. Our tour guide was so funny, he talked about the northern lights, local legends and even sang to us 😂. Highly recommended.

Amazing - The tour guide was amazing and informative. I learnt so much about Icelandic culture including myths and legends. Then actually seeing the lights and for nearly 30 mins was the icing on the cake. The whole experience was amazing and something I won't forget.

Super service and quick communication - Due to the extremely bad weather (Red warning) tours were being cancelled throughout our stay, we had booked a northern lights tour with another team who cancelled on the day of the tour due to no/extremely low chances of seeing the northern lights. We were desperate to try our chances so search endlessly for a group that was taking bookings for the same day and were reasonably priced. At first, I was a bit cautious because of the recent reviews on Tripadvisor but this was the only company taking same day bookings and at a fair price. So we decided to go for it. We chose the hotel pickup and I instantly sent our hotel name / location to the team once we booked it. Within an hour we received confirmation and the pickup location and time. We were picked up by a coach with our guide being Hilda and the driver being Malda (I believe). Hilda was extremely thorough with explaining how to set up iphone, android phones and digital cameras to take pictures. Hilda also explained and expressed that the forecast was not on our side and the chances were little to none, but we would be arriving at the observation location and wait a couple of hours, and decide whether to stay out a bit longer or head back after about an hour and a half (there were 4 coaches and they decided as a team). On the way, Hilda explained the history of Iceland, science behind the lights, folklore and many other things like some facts of locations we were passing. It was fascinating! The weather was still rather harsh but Malda was an incredible driver and did not break a sweat! Once we arrived, all the guides kept an eye out for the lights and just as it seemed nothing was going to happen we heard them shout “the lights are out”. Just at that moment we saw the band of green and it dance across the sky. Guides went around making sure people had photos and knew the settings to be able to get them. We had stopped off just north of the international airport by the lighthouse, where a cafe was that stays open for this tour group - although we didn’t have anything, I saw lots of people with hot and cold drinks, and little snacks. Our return journey was just as pleasant with more stories and history, and being dropped off at the best location to get to your hotel. I would say that you should defo go for this tour and just pop a message to them first - I imagine that comms can be lost as our group had over 200 people across the four coaches, so you need to message first and chase up. We had no problems and it all went really smoothly! Huge thanks to Hilda and Malda!

Pickup was a little... - Pickup was a little chaotic but they were very reassuring. Got very lucky and had wonderful viewings and I appreciated the information provided by the tour guide.

Avoid !!!!! - I booked a Northern Lights tour for February 25, 2025, and paid an extra £15 for pickup. They instructed me to wait at Bus Stop 11, but there were two Bus Stop 11s just 10 meters apart. The pickup time was between 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM, and I arrived early at 7:45 PM. By 8:40 PM, when no one had arrived, I sent them an email. Locals confirmed I was in the right place. The tour operator didn’t respond, so I called them. They told me the bus had already left. When I asked why they didn’t call me—considering I was just 10 meters away, a 30-second walk—they said they weren’t required to. I rescheduled for the 27th, but they canceled at the last minute. When I requested a refund, they claimed they needed to “evaluate” the situation. Evaluate what? They provided no service and simply took my money. I opened a dispute with my bank .

Cancelled it due to 'poor... - Cancelled it due to 'poor weather' and there was not a cloud in sight. Let my child down on his birthday

Scam? - The tour operator cancelled at the last minute. He said we could get a full refund and to contact Viator. Viator has still not issued a refund. Said to contact the tour operator. This is unfair and someone owes me a full refund!

Stopped communicating when refund owed - This company will not provide a refund when a tour is cancelled despite the booking information saying they will. They have stopped responding to my emails now and have not refunded me the money owed!!

No pick up. - We were told to be at Hotel at 8p.m. We waited from 7.50p.m. until 9p.m. with no bus arriving to collect us. We went to hotel reception who telephoned bus company and their answer was FORGOT TO PICK US UP.
