Just amazing - Absolutely amazing solar shower curtain display after waiting and thinking we were out of luck. Still buzzing from it now. Absolutely incredible.

Super easy pick up and... - Super easy pick up and the host was lovely and very easy to talk to, i knew the tour had been cancelled the past couple nights due to poor weather so wasn’t entirely optimistic i would see much but alas our driver knew the perfect spot to take us and the northern lights appeared, we stayed for around 1.5/2 hours in this spot with multiple light shows happening. Really had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this to others!

An unforgettable experience - We had a great time on this tour, our guide (John Paul) was a fantastic host with his knowledge and expertise in northern light chasing, when the weather wasn’t on our side with cloud coverage and snow/hail storms, he did not give up! Just the commitment you need because after a couple of hours of no shows, we were treated to a breathtaking display which we will treasure forever. Thankyou for the memories

Quick communication and friendly service - During our visit, lots of tours were cancelled due to extreme (Red warning) weather warnings and although it had gotten better with the weather, unfortunately the team cancelled the tour we had booked due to extremely low / no chance of seeing the lights. However, they were in contact and replied extremely quickly offering either a refund or re-schedule for the next / another day. Unfortunately we couldn’t do another day due to return flights, so we chose the refund option. The only reason this is a 4 star review rather than a 5 star is that my partner and I were desperate to try our luck and managed to find a tour group that accepted bookings for the same day, and we went out and saw the northern lights. I understand that with this tour group having smaller numbers and a great desire to make sure the lights are seen, they try to reschedule or refund. It would have been awesome to be offered to go out that night even with low to no forecast in the off chance that you might catch the lights (as long as enough people say let’s take the chance). As I said though, I cannot fault the team and have huge respect that they clearly are keen to make sure you see the lights and will do what’s best for you. The refund process was super simple and I received it in less than 2 business working days. Huge, huge thanks and I’m sure that I’ll give you guys another go when we visit again!

Good for a night stopover - Great stopover. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Since this is near volcanic lagoon, there is a sulfur smell in some rooms and the style is more like a US motel room.

An interesting night - It was disappointing not to see any color with banked eye but hear from others that they did so the same night. We also stayed out for a LONG time when it was super cold and it could have been shortened - we got stuck in the snow which prolonged it a little bit. We did see the lights in white with r eh bare eye and in lots of color through the camera lens.

Northern lights - Good adventure saw some lights but they not great in Iceland on the weekend we were there so not the tours fault Driver spent a lot of time looking for lights and helping with cameras where passengers asked. My only complaint was the mini bus had something wrong with it as it kept making loud banging noises on turning corners which was concerning and did spoil it for me.

Pickup was chaotic.... - Pickup was chaotic. Several other tour companies use the same pickup spots. The bus wasn't labeled with the company's name. Our guide would not stop yapping, long after he ceased to be offering interesting or relevant information, and it got to be quite irritating. He provided some inaccurate info as well. However, it was clear that he's passionate about chasing the lights and is trying to provide a positive experience. We were not back until 2 a m. Did we see the lights? The short answer is no. The longer answer is sort of: We couldn't really see anything with the naked eye but could using long exposure photos. The guide acted like this was very exciting and noteworthy when it fact we were just in the cold staring at what was effectively nothing for long periods of time.
