Beautiful museum! - This is a beautiful museum....designed with beauty, informative and enjoyable! It is definitely focused upon scientific info which was great for us! I am not sure if young families would enjoy the visit and it would be expensive for a family.

The best nature’s museum in the world - This is a stunning place, where you learn about lave, glaciers, water and nature. Eye-opening exhibition about melting the glacier and why we should protect them. All super interactive, kids and adults everybody will love it. And a great view of the Reykjavik from the roof.

The Perlan Reykjavik - The shows are very emersive, get there early and have the ice cave to yourself. The planetarium is excellent and gives you lots of information about the Northern Lights

Highly recommend visiting - A very educational museum with lots of informative history on Iceland. Certainly learnt a thing or two. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Must go into the -10 ice cave and out onto the observation deck where you'll be treated to a 360 degree view of Reykjavík. If you have walking difficulties definitely worth getting a taxi their and back.

Great to experience but maybe not for the under 5’s - Really informative experience, the observatory was brilliant as it gave us an experience of the northern lights that we sadly didn’t see on our trip. the glacier experience was the real highlight and such a unique experience as children under 8 can’t visit an actual glacier so this was the best and closest we could share in the experience . My only grumble although it is very informative, modern and clean but it was quite hard to keep a little ones attention and lost interest there wasn’t alot of child friendly activity and definitely missed opportunity’s to make this more interactive for the younger ones. We wanted to experience the bar at night but they decided to close it switching the lights off while guests were still on premises which was a shame as this was something we wanted to experience on our visit. Other than that it was a really interesting visit and reminded us a lot of dynamic earth In Edinburgh for a comparison.
