  • Thingvellir National Park - Thingvellir National Park is a must-see attraction & recognized as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is located on the Golden Circle route . The park is situated in a rift valley where the Eurasian & North American tectonic plates meet, making it one of the only places in the world where you can see two continents drifting apart. It is also the site where Iceland’s parliament, Althing, was founded in 930 AD, making it one of the oldest functioning parliaments in the world. You will reach to park to after a comfortable drive of 1 hour.
Visitors to Thingvellir National Park can explore the park’s stunning landscape, which includes a large lake, waterfalls, and volcanic rock formations. The park offers a range of activities for tourists, such as hiking, fishing, & diving in the Silfra fissure, where you can swim between two tectonic plates. Visitors Center at Park offers interactive exhibition which educates visitors about Iceland’s ancient history & park’s geological significance.

  • Geysir - Geysir Geothermal Area is a must-visit attraction known for its bubbling hot springs & spouting geysers. Leaving out Thingvellier National Park , it will drive of almost 45 mins The Strokkur Geysir is the most active geyser in the area, erupting every few minutes & reaching heights of up to 30 meters.
What makes Strokkur Geysir unique is its predictability, as it erupts regularly and consistently. Visitors can anticipate the eruption by observing the pre-eruption bubbling & steam rising from the pool. The geyser’s explosive display is a thrilling sight to witness and capture on camera.
Aside from watching Strokkur Geysir erupt, visitors can explore the geothermal area & observe the various hot springs and steam vents. The surrounding landscape is otherworldly, with colorful mineral deposits and bubbling mud pools.

  • Gullfoss Waterfall - Golden Falls It is a two-tiered waterfall that drops approximately 32 meters into a rugged canyon below. The waterfall is fed by Iceland’s second largest glacier, the Langjökull, & its water is a stunning turquoise color due to the suspended sediment in the glacial meltwater.
One of the unique features of Gullfoss is that it appears to disappear into the earth as it cascades down the two tiers. This illusion is created by the shape of the canyon & the mist that rises from the waterfall. The sound of the water crashing into the canyon is deafening & the mist that rises from the falls creates a beautiful rainbow on sunny days. It is 10 minute drive from Geysir Geothermal Area
there are several things to do and see in the surrounding area. For example, visitors can take a hike along the nearby trails that offer stunning views of the waterfall & the surrounding countryside. There is also a visitor center that provides information about the history & geology of the area.

  • Bruarfoss Waterfall - Often called the “Bridge Falls,” is one of Iceland’s hidden gems, known for its striking blue waters and unique, intricate cascades. The crystal-clear waters, combined with the dramatic volcanic rock formations, create a picturesque and almost otherworldly sight that leaves a lasting impression on all who visit.

  • Blue Lagoon - Blue Lagoon(Optional)
The Blue Lagoon in Iceland is a stunning geothermal spa renowned for its milky blue waters, which are rich in silica and other minerals. An awesome experience at the Golden Circle - We went (3 couples) with Sultan Mahmoud to visit the Golden Circle on Aug 16. First we visited the Gullfoss Waterfall, then the tallest Geyser and look at the fresh lava surrounding the Blue Lagoon area. Last but not least had an awesome bath at the Blue Lagoon. We enjoyed every stop and Sultan was able to accomodate our needs very well. He’s knowledgeable and friendly and tried hard to make our trip interesting and enjoyable. Highly recommend him to any visitors who wants to explore Iceland.

Best trip ever!!!! - I recently took a Golden Circle tour with Iceland Paradise Tours, and it was the best experience I could have asked for. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to make the day special. The stops at Þingvellir, Geysir, and Gullfoss were breathtaking, with plenty of time to explore and take photos. The small group size made it feel personalized, and the comfortable vehicle added to the overall enjoyment. Every detail was perfectly planned, and I can't recommend Iceland Paradise Tours enough for anyone looking to experience Iceland’s natural beauty at its finest.

Reykjavik and the Golden Circle in 8 hours - Sultan is a pleasant, motivated and efficient Guide/driver who put together a ‘package’ that included both the ‘classic’ highlights of the Golden Circle and the must-sees of the city of Reykjavik – all in eight hours that still felt relaxed!

All inclusive, stress free trip! - Just returned home from a wonderful trip. With a group of 8, it was difficult to decide on renting cars or to book excursions/transfers with a company. Even though we are all experienced winter drivers, we felt the drivers would not be able to relax and enjoy the sights as much. After reading so many positive reviews from Iceland Paradise Tours , we took the chance on turning our trip over to Sultan Mahmoud. We gave him a few ideas and he turned it into a fantastic itinerary. It was a great mix of scheduled tours and free time. Day 1 included airport pick up and drop off to our accommodation. That evening was a successful Northern lights tour with professional photographs and hot chocolate and some Icelandic treats. He knew the spots to go for the best chance of seeing the lights. Having a smaller vehicle also allowed for easier access to remote viewing areas. And if we hadn’t seen them that first night we arrived, we would have kept trying every night of our trip. On the way back to Reykjavik, the lights started dancing again and Sultan immediately pulled over for us to have another view and photo opportunity. Within 20 mins of being dropped off at our apartment, Sultan had sent us all the pictures he had taken that evening. This was only day 1 and we were beyond happy with our choice to book with Iceland Paradise tours. Day 2 we did the Golden Circle tour including a stop at Laxnes Horse Farm for a 2 hour ride. Day 3 was a day of much needed rest and to explore Reykjavik on our own. Day 4 included the South Coast tour with a few special surprises for us. Day 5 we had our morning free and went to Hvammsvik Hot Springs in the late afternoon. Day 6 was return transfers to the airport. We had door to door service in a comfortable van with plenty of room for luggage on airport transfers or room to bring a change of clothing or rain pants to take on/off at certain stops. Sultan knew the history of each area we visited and also the expertise of knowing which order for the stops to avoid major crowds for better picture opportunities. We never felt rushed at any sight and really enjoyed Sultan’s commentary. We never felt bombarded with constant narration or that our space was being intruded. It was a great mix of having a private guide/driver and also our own space. And most importantly, knowing we could stop when needed for restroom breaks!! We had compared the options of booking all individual transfers/tours and for the small price difference we decided to go with something more personal and convenient. There was no stress of finding meeting points or bus transfer locations each day. We were met at the front door of our accommodation and we didn’t have to think any further. Just sit back relax and enjoy. I only needed a camera at every stop as our all inclusive price included all entry fees. No worrying about standing in line or pre-booking activities. Sultan took care of everything. I highly recommend him if you want a small tour all inclusive experience. All I had to do was book flights and our accommodation. Sultan took care of the rest. I only had to budget for meals and souvenirs. I highly recommend Sultan and Iceland Paradise Tours. Initial contact was by email and then further calls and texts on WhatsApp. I never waited long for a reply. Even on our free days Sultan reached out to check in or to give us suggestions or tell us about possible Northern lights sightings from the harbor. We had such an amazing stress-free trip, thanks to Sultan. Every day I said this was my favorite day until the next day came 🤣. Looking forward to returning 🇮🇸

BEST EXPERIENCE!! - There’s no words to compare the stunning sceneries we’ve seen but we would never have this amazing and more private experience if we didn’t have Sultan as our guide. He’s simply the best! His priority is us (his clients) and he’s very thoughtful and always thinks ways so we can have the best time ever.. and we did! . We did the Golden Circle and the South Coast Tour and everything was just so convenient! He picks us up and drops us off from and to our accomodation every day. He knows when’s the best time to go to places when there’s not much people or tour buses around so we can have better photos. He even made an extra effort and took us to a place that is not part of the usual South Coast Tour and boy, the view there was breathtaking!! He even gave us Icelandic snacks and drinks to try… and I mean, which tour does that?? I can’t recommend Sultan enough. If you’re looking for a more private and wonderful experience in Iceland, book him NOW!

Unprofessional Company - We booked various tours via WhatsApp with Sultan Mehmood and wish we didn’t. If you want a rude, unprofessional and dangerous tour guide Iceland Paradise Tours is your company. The guide likes to drive at speed tailgating other cars and overtaking dangerously whilst using his mobile phone. When complaining he decided to sulk the following day not getting out of the van and also not taking photos which we paid for. The tours were cut short and some of the tours although paid for private tours the driver thought it was ok to bring his cousin visiting from another country on our private tours. The owner became aggressive demanding payment for the balance while we were in dispute on the amounts as was overcharged by nearly £1200. We tried to gain some compensation from the card company where he lied to them to avoid a refund. My partner left an honest review to then receive a message from the owner with a death/rape threat to my family. The manager then decided to try and bribe my partner to remove the reviews and to stop the action with the authorities and wonder how many other people he has done this to keeping his 5 star reviews. This is currently being dealt with by the Icelandic Police and tourism board to investigate how a person in a position of trust can act this way. If you have already booked with this company I would look at getting a refund and book elsewhere with a reputable Icelandic tour guide/resident and don’t make the same mistake we did with all the promises made and failure to deliver. We have all screenshots of conversations including the manager who was very helpful admitting to the failures of the owner of the company and saying that we should have a refund but the owner vetoed it. There is a long list of incidents but just a summary here
