As Advertised - It was a good experience, it was as advertised. I wished that it had longer hours of operation, but it suited our needs.

Great overview with some technical problems - It was easy enough to book the tickets and start the tour at Harpa. The top of the double decker bus gives a nice overview. The bus tracker was helpful to time when to get back on, since the busses run only every 45 minutes. That's a bit long when you miss it. Busses themselves were not terrible comfortable. Seats are molded plastic and narrow. Drivers have to navigate traffic and narrow streets and bus makes lots of sharp twists and turns. Drivers were all friendly. The audio system was so-so. When it worked, it was fine but frequently it didn't. The repetitive elevator music running constantly was a bit annoying. As a matter of fact, music was on more than information. That was the biggest drawback. Otherwise, bus tour gave a great overview.

Drive around Reykjavik - Brilliant tour, you can get on and off all over Reykjavik. You can download an interactive map from the flyer. An online timetable is also available. Just take photos of the QR codes. The audio is available in multiple languages, easy to follow and interesting. The bus stops have little signs with the bus logo but they can be easily missed. The drivers are helpful and you can ask them questions.

24 hour HopOn HopOff - The audio guided tour was very informative and worthwhile. The only negative experience was our interaction with the drivers. The two times we boarded the bus there was no greeting from the driver. The first time we boarded the bus we were not instructed to take earphones or a map for the tour. We realized we needed earphones once we were on the top deck of the bus.

Disappointed Journey - We were a little confused with the route and the driver was not communicating with the passengers he did not make us aware of the journey and the stops. No announcement was made for the stops. I’m Very disappointed.

Not the same - The day started off well. We had friendly drivers who pulled up and stopped at every stop. After lunch, the new driver was grumpy and only stopped if someone was waiting. He did not give us time to get off. We missed our stop and when we told him, he was angry, pulled over and we had to walk back to the missed stop. Not my usual experience with this bus company. Have used them in multiple cities/countries and never had an issue.

Good service but a mystery to find - The bus service is fine. The tour is as described, and you can make a grand circuit around the middle of the city. Hope on hop off is easy. Unfortunately, no one tells you how to find a stop, as with other forms of transportation around Reykjavik. Icelanders have a well elaborated transportation system, but don't seem to share it. I appears they think you don't need direction or explanation. It took us almost an hour to find the stop for this bus near our hotel. The hotel was no help in identifying one. We got on a city bus by mistake. Just a warning for travelers.

Pass on it in Iceland - I usually love the hop on off tours as they are a great way to hear some history while getting to the sights, unfortunately the audio was not working and the driver didn’t stop at every stop, so I ended up having to walk between anyway

Don't bother. - We were very disappointed. We have taken this tour in many other cities around the world. Never have we had to wait so long between buses. Not once was the bus on time. And not once were we offered a set of headphones to listen to the tour. We ended up either walking or taking a taxi. It just wasn't worth our time. We even bought a 48 hour ticket and chose not to bother using it the next day.

Don't waste you money - the bus got a flat tire on stop 6. 45 minute delay, no other bus available. no communication from driver or guide. Got off at "Icelands biggest mall". Usually the attraction is visible from the stop. Not this one. it took us 15 minutes in the pouring rain to find "Iceland biggest mall". did not get back on the bus took a taxi back to the ship. overall - AWFUL
