Museums!!!! - Amazing! If you like museums this is a must!! I visited 14 museums within 2 days with a tight schedule and absolutely loved it. Taking the busses is also great, but they are a bit unreliable and its sometimes faster to just go 20 minutes by foot. I didn’t mind that, by foot you can explore even more! But if you dont like museums, this is probably not for you.

72 hour Reykjavik card well worth while. - Riding the city buses to explore Reykjavik, going to hot swimming pool, museums and art gallery. We had a great time and would buy one again.

Lots to do in Reykjavik with your City Card - We used the City Card on buses all over the city, taking us to museums, the harbor, and a symphony concert at spectacular "HARPA" on the water. The City Card gave us access to many museums. We visited 4 different museums in 3 days. We got our money's worth for sure.

Great value! - Great value if you plan on exploring the city! I didn't get on a single bus as I prefer to walk but used this for multiple discounts and for entrance to 12 or so museums and it was absolutely worth it!

Reasonably priced...easy to use - Very reasonably priced for bus tickets throughout the city! The Settlement Museum is not to be missed! No issues using the pass cards on the city bus. Everyone seems to recognize them.

Great Value - The card was great value and easy to use. I bought the card voucher online before I arrived in Iceland and I had no problem exchanging the voucher for the 72-hour Reykjavik City Card at "What's On" in Reykjavik. You also receive a pamphlet with a map showing eligible locations for the card. You will also need to check their website to find additional places that offer discounts for the card.

Great value to see a lot of Reykjavik - Bought the card in person in Reykjavik (had problem buying it online). Very easy to buy at one of the museums. Card enabled me to have a very enjoyable and varied time in Reykjavik! Went to several museums for free using this card. Some of the museums were excellent but some of the museums were small and I probably would not have bothered visiting them if not for this card. Got discounts using this card at 3 restaurants. Unfortunately at 1 of the restaurants the staff didn't know about this card but gave me a discount anyway. Went on ferry. Went on buses a few times. Went swimming at thermal pools. Many places included in card that I didn't have time to go to. Calculating all the money I would have spent at all the attractions, I used probably 2x the value of the card. Very worthwhile!

Citicard excursions - The photography museum had a very unusual and thought provoking exhibit. It's location in the library. Close by is the art museum with a very avant garde immersion display. Sensory experiences. Since we were walking, many places weren't the easiest to find so we missed a lot. Busses were not easy to navigate at first. We did manage to get to the Perlan, although the #18 bus stop is still a hefty walk. #13 still gets you within a few blocks. We did get additional discount at the Perlan with the citicard. Our hotel was not close to a convenient bus stop, so that made it more difficult to get around. One of our days was on an 8 hour tour, so we didn't use the card that day. We thought we'd use it more.

Convenient but not that cost effective - The price of the card just covers the expense of museums/activities we wanted to participate in by the convenience with the Coty Bus made it very convenient.

Hummm - All I heard was get this card. Loved the attraction part of it but not happy with bus. Found bus stops not marked on majority of maps. Bus driver didn't know what the card was. Got on wrong bus because we didn't realize there was a north and south line. Ended up getting off and just walked.
