BOOK IT! - I'm giving this tour 5 stars because that's all TripAdvisor will allow! Our guide Stefan was excellent. His knowledge and how he can tell a story is first class. I won't spoil the content, but I can assure you that you're in for a real treat. His stories of folklore and his retelling are so engaging. Definitely book this tour, and you will not be disappointed!

Great folklore tour! - Our family loves folklore and enjoyed the stories and history about Iceland. Even though the weather was horrible (very windy and snowing), and we couldn't visit all the places in person, the guide did a good job of telling us the stories and sharing Iceland's vivid history.

Great story telling - A captivating walk and a great one to keep older children/teens interested if they like fantasy and ghost stories. My son seems to have remembered all the anecdotes and my goodness is surprising a few people with stories which, out of context, seem wild. Great fun. When we return will definitely book another one.

Solo Christmas break - I booked this tour for my first night in Reykjavik. It was a small tour, which felt really personal. The tour guide was humorous and engaging. The stories told were fascinating and introduced the history of Iceland and the myths and legends in wan informal but educational way.

Stefan I was an absolutely delightful guide! - Stefan I was an absolutely delightful guide. He was very knowledgeable and peppered the darker stories with jokes and anecdotes. 10/10, I would love to take a tour with Stefan again.

Elves, trolls and Einar - A lot of walking but frequent stops. Einar was a gem and I highly recommend him as a tour guide. He told great stories and was very well informed of his subject matter. He is animated acting out his stories. Just great. Kept our group engaged and interested. I absolutely loved this tour.

Not great. - We do not recommend this visit. At night we see nothing and do not take full advantage of the views. Stories we can find on YouTube. This is not what we expected when booking this tour. Nevertheless, the guide is very sympathetic.

Walking folklore tour - It was very cold. But the tour guide choose not to walk, which did not give us the sites to go with the stories, Yes we had an older woman in a wheelchair but I felt the tour would have been much better if he showed us the sites by walking instead of standing in the square., freezing due to weather . So tour was not as stated walking!!!!
