Marvelous experience at the glacier lagoon and diamond beach - My experience with Icelandia was superb. Everything was organized in detail and our wonderful guide Flosi guided us along the entire tour, without leaving anything behind!

An unforgettable day trip - don’t be intimidated by the duration! - I absolutely loved it!! Even though I’d been at the two waterfalls before, I loved seeing them in a different light - managed to catch the vary last of the nice weather, and the golden hour with the red sun blazing was just perfect. Gunnar B was an amazing guide. He shared some fascinating local legends with us which really gave me a perspective on what it must have been like for people living here centuries ago. Thoroughly recommend this tour!

Pleasant and full. - The journey was very full and the guides shared a lot of experiences and insights along the way which was very interesting. I also felt the charm of Iceland on my journey and learned about the confrontation between people and nature underneath.

Awesome tour of south coast! - Gunnar B was the most amazing tour guide! I absolutely loved his stories the whole journey. I usually feel car sick but I was so entertained I didn’t even think about it! Stories about Icelandic trivia, traditions, language and culture. Gunnar was super knowledgeable about everything we saw! The glacier lake was out of this world, completely other worldly !!! Stunningly beautiful and we stopped in so many fantastic places on the way including an enormous waterfall at sunset which you can walk behind! Gunnar has a scientific background so any question I asked regarding volcanos, glaciers, wildlife etc he knew the answer to! Such a lovely person! Thank you!!!!

Excellent experience - Excellent organization in tour and time. Some little “not scheduled” visit and a special visit of Falls give a unique experience. Very good!

The Bonus experience - We had such a fantastic time during this excursion all the way down the South coast from Reykjavik to the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, discovering so many scenic wonders! The day just flew by and we were about to return to Reykjavik when our driver Albert was informed that, since we left early morning, the roads had suddenly been flooded in the area of Vik and were closed. This meant that we could not go back through the South accesses and were compelled to pursue our route on the Ring Road around the island (+/- 1500 kms total!), all the way up East and North then down back West till our departing location. So we started an unexpected “bonus” tour that took us first for dinner in the charming village of Höfn, then to Reyðarfjörður where we stayed overnight in a very nice hotel. This gave us the opportunity to discover the gorgeous Fjords along the East coast. The next day we were on the road again, but Albert made it another splendid guided tour, with lots of breaks allowing us to see the Myvatn lake surroundings (including a short walk among impressive Lava Formations), the stunning Goðafoss waterfall, some typical architectural parts of the 2nd biggest city in Island : Akureyri, and even the cutest polar fox cub, hosted in a beautiful country farm. We eventually reached Reykjavik in the evening, and Albert took all passengers back to their respective initial pick-up locations (hotels and rentals downtown). Last, thanks to Albert’s most efficient leadership, guiding … and driving (!), the dozen or so participants in this excursion group made theirs the famous Icelandic saying: “þetta reddast” (meaning everything will work out in the end). We experienced the locals’ wisdom when facing Mother Nature (numerous) hazards in this country, and we made the very best out of it! Again: BRAVO et MERCI Albert for this unforgettable greatest adventure. Agnès & Gabriel

A day full of surprises! - With two teenagers, I was worried about the length of day, but it turned out to be their favourite day. The bus gave them a chance to rest, see the beautiful scenery, and when we got to our destination we loved the lagoon and the Diamond beach, where we saw a young minke whale. The trip is nicely paced, the guide was great, sharing some interesting narrative to the day. A magical day that left us feeling balanced in a busy schedule.
