Excellent tour - We had a really great time on this excursion. Devin was our guide. He was very fun and personable, had some great stories, and put together a killer playlist of Icelandic artists that you mostly wouldn’t know, but a few with international hits (e.g., Of Monsters and Men, KALEO). The lunch at the farm was delicious. It included fresh-caught fish as well as a vegan option, and one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. There are a few hills and some climbing to get to/from the black sand beach and waterfalls, so you’ll need to be relatively mobile. Overall, I really enjoyed this tour and will use this company the next time I’m in Iceland. My friend has also used their services before and had a good experience then too.

Wonderful Snaefellsnes private tour - We took a private Snaefellsnes tours with EastWest in March 2025 and it was amazing! The tour was wonderful and we really liked our guide, Haukur (Hawk). He was very knowledgeable and flexible and let us stop as long or as short as we liked at the sites. Everyone in our family had an amazing time. We loved seeing the seals on the beach and the black church. Everything was very picturesque. EastWest was so helpful with the planning, and I highly recommend them. The vehicle was clean and comfortable and the WiFi helped one of our party who did not have a cell plan.

An experience not to be missed! - This was definitely my favorite tour. We got to see so many beautiful places. Our guide Monika is just THE BEST. She has the best tips, really knows how, when and where to make the stops to get the best spots and you can tell she really enjoys her job. She is fantastic!

A Magical Day - We had a magical day on the peninsula! Lucked out with the weather and had sun much of the day. Monika was an excellent guide- personable, passionate, fun, knowledgeable- and even followed up with extra info and resources after the trip. A favorite moment was seeing an arctic fox while we were watching the whales off the coast! Definitely recommend this smaller group tour for an enhanced experience of beautiful Iceland.

Snaefellsnes super tour! - This was a fabulous tour! The sites were amazing, but Monika the tour guide is who made the trip. Monika was friendly, effervescent and extremely knowledgeable. She always had a story, anecdote or scientific/historical information to impart. Her excitement was infectious and we couldn’t help but love everything about the tour! She deserves a raise, and you are lucky to have her. I would take any tour that Monika was leading!

Stunning scenery- knowledgeable & friendly guide - Amazing tour - stunning scenery. Nice opportunities to go for walks with stunning scenery. Very nice lunch stop at traditional horse ranch farm with traditional cuisine. Knowledgeable & friendly tour guide (Thor) who was exceptionally insightful throughout the excursion. Highly recommend - comfortable vehicle & smaller group sizes than many of the other tour operators who use coaches instead.

Wonderful day trip, easier with a guide - Leroy was an amazing guide. He told stories and explained a lot about Iceland and the places we went to. He drove well, and despite the day being rainy and even a little snowy at times, we were all comfortable and enjoyed ourselves. The food served by Johannes at the horse farm was delicious and plentiful. My teenage kids even said the tour was the best one we had been on in Iceland, largely due to Leroy’s narration. He didn’t talk the whole time and when he talked it was very interesting.

Good day out, with the trip. - It was an enjoyable day out to the peninsula. Lots of things to see and a good amount of time to visit various sights. Lunch at the horse farm was very welcome and tasty, the hosts being very friendly and spending a little while with the lovely Icelandic ponies was fun. Roger the guide was very knowledgeabe and affable. All in all a good, if long, day.
