Highlights
  • Berserkjahraun - The rugged and untamed lava field of Berserkjahraun offers a quintessential view of Iceland’s landscape. Formed over 4000 years ago, it is featured in many of the renowned Icelandic sagas of medieval literature.
  • Kirkjufell Mountain - Known as Iceland’s most famous mountain, Kirkjufell, along with the nearby Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall, is a perfect spot for photography. Well-maintained pathways allow for easy exploration and appreciation of the natural beauty.
  • Snaefellsjokull National Park & Glacier - Located on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in western Iceland, Snæfellsjökull National Park is celebrated for its stunning landscapes and geological features. Established in 2001, the park is dominated by the Snæfellsjökull volcano, capped by a glacier and famously featured in Jules Verne’s Journey to the Center of the Earth. The park boasts rugged coastlines, lava fields, and diverse flora and fauna, offering hiking trails and breathtaking views. It also includes cultural and historical sites, such as ancient fishing villages and Viking settlements, making it a popular destination for nature and history enthusiasts.
  • Dritvik and Djupalonssandur - Visit the black sand beach of Djúpalónssandur, rich in history. Once a bustling fishing area, the sea is now empty as boats have moved elsewhere. All that remains are the wreckage of a British trawler on the black sands and several ‘lifting stones’ that were used to test the strength of potential fishermen. You can try your hand at lifting them to see if you would have made the cut!
  • Lóndrangar View Point - These magnificent rock formations, standing 75 and 61 meters tall, rise out of the Arctic Ocean. These two rock pinnacles, volcanic plugs of basalt, are a stunning natural wonder.
  • Arnarstapi Center and Snjófell Restaurant - Arnarstapi is a charming Icelandic fishing village with a rich history dating back to the Viking era. Enjoy a breathtaking walk along the coastline with impressive sea cliffs populated by a variety of seabirds. The area is perfect for photography and experiencing the raw beauty of Iceland.
  • Ytri Tunga Beach - Unlike Djúpalónssandur, this beach features the golden sand more familiar to visitors from overseas. Ytri Tunga is notable for the seal colonies that can be seen lounging on the rocks just offshore.
  • Budakirkja - The Budir Black Church is a striking little church set in a desolate landscape. It’s a popular subject for photographers, and you’ll have a chance to capture it during this short photo stop.

Snaefellsness Peninsula is a must-see!!! - This was by far my favourite tour of the 3 I took by myself. Our guide Sigfus (Sigge) was absolutely fantastic, super funny, knowledgeable, and caring! He told us lots of historical facts but also some "Sigge stories," which added to the whole experience. Even though it was a 12-hour tour, it didn't seem long! The Snaefellnes Peninsula is breathtaking! There's something to see everywhere you look! I would definitely go back there and explore a bit more! We made the most of the sunny but windy day we had, and I came home with some amazing shots. Most importantly, though, is that I got to see one of the most famous waterfalls in all of Iceland. A dream come true!

Iconic Icelandic Trip - A sunny day in Iceland is a bless. Our tour guide is Dooley, a welll knowledgeable and responsible guy provided five star service and fun to our trip. Since the extremely helpful weather, we were lucky to see sea lions and Icelandic horse on the way tho they are not on the list of our standard itinerary. My favorite part was not the list to go we fulfilled, but the detailed explanation of almost every single corner of the scenes on the road. I can’t express enough gratitude by words, you made ,y day!

All around Excellent! - This was a perfect way to start our Iceland adventure! The tour guide was knowledgeable, and the bus was great. It’s a tight fit for taller people but the seats were very comfortable. We absolutely loved it!

Breathtaking Scenery! - Addi was a wonderful tour guide/driver. He shared great stories with us and gave us lots of info. about the areas we were visiting. (He also helped me back up the hill from the beach, as I have a wonky hip!!) We saw so much. . . from seals to "stone trolls" to lava fields to magnificent black sand beaches to waterfalls, mountains and sea stacks. And we had just the right amount of breaks; it was a fabulous day!

Great! - Great experience despite the weather didn’t help. Sad to say that due to the wind we couldn’t visit the town that the guide told us that was different

A day on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula - Our guide Tony went above and beyond to make the day as interesting and informative as possible. 11 hours of driving and talking is no mean feat. He was charming and funny and very professional. We enjoyed all the things en route despite the awful rain and high winds. This was our second excursion and he made it the best.

A beautiful day but with an awful tour guide - Excellent driver, Ragnor. Excellent itinerary. Memorable places visited. A tour guide who barely talked except to the driver in another language !

Disappointed - If you want to book this tour make sure you will have a perfect weather that day as they will use it not to visit the destination. It was showering when we went. 11 hrs we were trapped inside bus, visited 5 resto but only 3 tourist destination. I asked about the the popolar triangle mountain, the guide just made triangle with his finger and said that it is the mountain. When I asked if we would go there he said "no, it is raining". In contrast, Our friend at the same time but with different company, did visit that popular mountain. He did not care that guest already spent alot of money to visit Iceland, once in life time holiday. If the rain was the problem, we all got wet when stopped at the beach anyway. It was wasting time and money. Not recommended.
