A very long day out with a lot of variation in scenery ending at the glacial lagoon and beach - An amazing and very long day out (approximately 14 hours). This travels east from Reykjavik along the South Coastal highway. There were sufficient stops for lunch, dinner and bathrooms along the way. The glacial lagoon is a large stretch of water with small icebergs which will drift past and out to the sea. Diamond Beach was a lot of fun with blocks of clear ice of all shapes and sizes. There were also a couple of waterfall stops with the last one having an option to walk behind it.

Great 1 day trip to Iceland's Wonders - Wonderful trip...this one plus a separate Golden Circle day trip, will hit many of the must see locations in southwestern Iceland. Louisa (sounds like) is a very informative guide, with great explanations of Iceland's geothermal and volcanic wonders. I just wish the Reynisfjara Beach near Vik was an added stop...a much prettier black sand beach than at Jokulsarlon.

Fantastic tour - Roman was absolutely fantastic as a guide. The Glacier Lagoon boat ride was thrilling. Diamond Beach was awesome and taking pictures behind the waterfall at sunset was magnificent.

Ramon was a great guide and very knowledgeable and informative about everything slo g the way. The bus was comfortable and the rest stops were well spaced. The tour stops were perfect in length and I even had time to shop😊

We had the opportunity to visit the glacial side of the Island (diamond beach) but also magnificents waterfall like Kvernufoss and Skogafoss with a very experienced and nice tour guide, Emilia, who gave us good informations about the places and also told Is Icelandic folk tales. She Is very kind and I recommend this tour!

Stunning scenery but poorly planned tour - The tour is well intentioned but poorly planned and executed. It's a very long trip (around 15 hours). We stopped for 20-30 mins about 4 times at petrol stations. This reduced the available time for sightseeing. We wanted to stop at the beautiful svínafellsjökull view point but this request was denied. Reducing the time at petrol stations by half would have given us time for that. The combined lunch and black sand beach was too short to enjoy anything. However, the scenery along the south coast is stunning. The boat ride at glacier lagoon is highly recommended.

A Long Day. - The boat ride on the glacial lagoon and the waterfalls were great. However the guide was boring and only pointed out names of volcanoes, and glaciers. For such a long tour she could have been more informative about the culture. She brought along her 12 year old daughter who took up a whole front seat. She then stopped to pick up her young son along with a gentleman with two more young children. The driver was her husband. Neither were friendly or interacted with the guests.

Terrible Experience with Gray Line Iceland - Avoid at All Costs - I had an extremely disappointing experience with Gray Line Iceland. On the night before our scheduled tour on August 24, 2024, they canceled our booking without any prior warning or explanation. This was particularly devastating because it was our last day in Iceland, leaving us with no opportunity to rearrange our plans or find an alternative tour. The lack of communication and customer care from Gray Line Iceland is shocking. Canceling a tour last minute, especially without providing a reason, shows a complete disregard for their customers' time and experiences. We had been looking forward to this tour as a highlight of our trip, but instead, we were left frustrated and disappointed. Thankfully, we discovered BusTravel Iceland after this experience, and they turned out to be a much more reliable and customer-friendly option. If you're planning a trip to Iceland, I strongly recommend booking with BusTravel Iceland. They offer a variety of fantastic tours and, based on my experience, are far more dependable. Avoid Gray Line Iceland if you want to ensure your trip goes smoothly.

Avoid it; the itinerary will no be followed - I embarked on this tour on the 7th of august. The trip started on time, exactly 8:02 o’clock, this was good. However, the Tour Guide Sólveig kept on rushing us with a threatening tone. She killed the spirit of the bus, we felt intimidated. But, she provided comprehensive commentary throughout the trip. Besides, the whole group (12 people) were cooperative. We returned to the bus 3 to 5 minutes earlier with every stops. Nevertheless she reduced the amount of time we’re supposed to spend in each stop: 1- We spend 20 minutes in Skogafoss instead of 30 minutes. 2- We spent only 48 minutes in jokulsarlon. We were supposed to spend one hour as mentioned in the itinerary. I confronted her, she said “no! Your time is 30 minutes, but I gave you extra 10”. 3- She omitted an entire stop of 60 minutes in the diamond beach. I asked her, she is said there is no such stop!!!. She lied saying the boat ride is actually the diamond beach, and the tour company stopped doing Jokulsarson!” She thinks tourists are ignorant, and she can mislead them!!! Shame!! We can read!! In general, we were supposed to spend 2 hours in the south coast, not 48 minutes in total!! We spent money and time to see what we were promised in the itinerary. Respect the tourists! We wanted to walk on the beach, see the animal life. It was a long ride, but she deprived us from that experience!! It was her fault. We followed time and everything. She stole our joys, killed our spirits, and was in the way from experiencing the beauty of Iceland.
