100% recommend, good way to make the most of a short visit, family friendly - I can't recommend this tour highly enough. We were in town for a 48-hour "layover" between Canada and Europe and this was an excellent way to make the best of our short time there. Our guide, Darren was friendly, highly knowledgeable, very accomodating and did a great job of pacing out the day. The first and last bus rides of the day are the longest - 1.5 and 2 hours, respectively - and then the rest of the day is shorter drives between amazing landmarks. I recommend the lunch "cafeteria" at the back of the wool clothing store in Vik - expensive (like everything in Iceland) but delicious. We brought two kids and, with the help of some devices for the longer parts of the drive, they had a great time. Make sure to take advantage of restroom stops whenever available, especially before the long legs of the trip because there are no facilities on the bus. Weather was uncharacteristically clear for our trip, which made for better sight-seeing. Don't put too much weight on a good or bad weather forecast - things change quickly and are hard to predict in Iceland. Special short-out to our driver, Yusef, who kept us comfortable on the road!

This is a MUST! - This is a MUST! This is a MUST if you are visiting Iceland for the first time. The Waterfalls, Glacier and Black beach were out of this world! Our Tour guide Darren was fantastic! He made the trip extra special with his wonderful and interesting stories. He was highly informative and educational about Iceland with his easy to listen to voice. Great sense of humour too! The bus driver Hermann was a brilliant and safe driver. Don't be put off by the 10 hours as it goes so quickly with all the different stops. Plenty toilet breaks too. Please do yourself a favour and book this as you will not be disappointed!!

Amazing trip with super guide - We can definitely recommend this trip. We had a really amazing time! Our guide , Karen was the best ( and of course the driver) and shared a lot of interesting information about Iceland and also some personal recommendations and stories as well. We’ve also got to listen some Icelandic music so it was the whole package. Obviously the experience was great, luckily we had a great weather and managed to get a lot of great pictures too with the help of Karen . Thank you !

South Coast Trip Iceland - Excellent trip with guide Darren and driver Sven (Baer)...sorry about spelling! Guide was excellent mix of informative and entertaining. Really enjoyed listening to him and the time passed quickly between stops. He was strict on time which meant we weren't waiting on other people to get on the bus after visiting a site and it maximised our time at the next location. We would have preferred to spend less time at the shop area and have more time at the glacier or one of the waterfalls. The Glacier was unbelievable and it was much more distinctive because there was no snow around it. We were planning to begin bringing groups over from Ireland as part of our Geography and Climate Action classrs, however we were disgusted to discover that Iceland still allows whales to be killed and mostly exported (but some are served in restaurants here!). We won;t be involced in future spending of money in this country until this intelligent and majestic creature is properly protected.

Waterfalls, beach & glacier - This trip was a lot of driving visiting the Southern coast of Iceland. Was sad to hear about the rate the glacier is melting and could possibly not be there at all in the next 10 years! Beautiful waterfalls & great guide.
