Amazing, unexpected experience! - We were lucky to have Thor as our tour guide, he was amazing and so friendly. We learnt so much about Iceland from him, in such an interesting way! The hike wasn’t too difficult, but it was an incredible experience; we saw recent eruption sites and the view of the landscape from the top was breathtaking! After the hike Thor took us for a drive through a town (I cannot remember the name) which recently had 4,000 people living there that had to evacuate due to earthquakes and lava. It had only been open for the public to visit for a couple of weeks, we drove around the town and could see the devastation that these natural disasters had caused! It was extremely eerie, like driving around a ghost town as it was still completely abandoned! This was such a bonus as it isn’t advertised, however for us was the most interesting part!! Then we went on to the blue lagoon, our tickets included a free face mask and a free drink from the bar which you can swim up to. It was our first time visiting the lagoon, and it was magical, it was so much bigger and better than we could have ever expected. It wasn’t too busy and we had a really relaxing time, there wasn’t a rush at all as we were given over 2 hours to spend there. This trip was worth every penny, would definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting Iceland.

Mario was a great guide - This was such a great experience, however I think it was made so special by it being a small group (16) and the tour guide (Mario). We started the day off with coffee. Mario incorporated several bonus stops like the dry fish farm, the deepest lake, and geothermal area. All prior to getting to the volcano hike parking lot. It made the trip fly by. He gave the opportunity for people to follow him or hike their own path as long as we all met back by the bus at an agreed upon time. He ensured everyone’s safety, kept us informed of so much culture and history of the area, and made sure everyone had pee breaks. On top of all of that we never once felt rushed or like we were on a schedule. We enjoyed the volcano hike super cool, mild to moderate difficulty. We then went to the blue lagoon where we had 2 hours to enjoy, which was the perfect amount of time to enjoy the warm water, utilize the free face mask and enjoy your free drink. On the way home we made two more bonus stops of a lava field and a cute town we drove through. Again great experience but largely due to Mario!

Excellent tour - I had a great time on this tour. Siggi the guide was phenomenal, he made everyone feel included, he was super informative, and made me laugh. I learned more about Iceland from him than from any other guide on my vacation. The hike to the volcano was shorter than expected but was an experience I will always remember. Blue Lagoon was a nice ending to the day. I was picked up right on time from the arranged place and dropped off at my hotel, no problems. Thanks for the great trip!!

Volcano touring and blue lagoon spa day - We toured Icelands volcano sites and blue lagoon with Kalman Racz who picked us up in Reykjavik and dropped us off at our hotel after an amazing day together. Kalman was so kind and knowledgeable about Icelandic history and volcanoes! He made the country come alive for me with so much information. And just a cheerful guide who made the day great with rest stops for people who needed snacks or bathroom breaks. Well done!

Perfect guided tour - Had an amaaaaazing trip with the sweetest and coolest guide Roman (Zack)! He took us safely (!) to places we’ve never seen before and told us some nice fact about Iceland and gave us extra information to continue our trip! Really worth the price if you want to see Roman in action! :)

Great trip although not quite as advertised - Great trip although not quite as advertised. There is no 4 hour hike. Stops are a bakery/toilet break, a lake, a hot springs area, a short walk (15 mins) to experience a lava field, lunch and a look around a town that had to be evacuated due to an eruption, and lastly 2 hours at the Blue Lagoon. Our guide Omer was very nice. The scenery is interesting and the small group encourages a sociable time, and meant we had friends to talk to in the Blue Lagoon. I would recommend this trip but don’t expect a 4 hour hike. They didn’t explain why, but I guess there wouldn’t be time to fit it in.

Volcano and blue lagoon - Tour guide was excellent, she gave history and information throughout the tour. The volcano hike was pretty, it was an easy ascend and descent. Anyone can do this hike no matter what level of athleticism. The blue lagoon is fun, just touristy.
