Don’t waste your time or money! - At least we saw dolphins and little bits of a humpback whale. Unfortunately, the captain kept turning the prow toward the group of cetaceans, so only those at the front of the ship could see anything valuable. Considering the size and length of the broadside, I consider this very inconsiderate!! If the boat had been turned broadside to the group of cetaceans, pretty much everyone on board would have been guaranteed a very good self-seen view of the beautiful creatures. Considering that the business is all about the tourists and them having eyes on the whales, I was very disturbed that no one at Special Tours has thought to make viewing more accessible for those who are shorter, can’t handle the cold for long periods of time, can’t stand for long periods of time, start getting sick, or any and all other reasons. Plus, it’s just not fun to try cramming everyone into the prow for quick glimpses; so thoughtless and insensitive! I won’t ever recommend this tour or company! If you want to see whales with an enjoyable experience, go to Alaska!
