10/10 - One of the best tours! Our guide was fantastic - so knowledgeable and helpful - we learnt so much from this trip. It is off the main tourist route so experiencing these places with few other people around was special. Would 100% recommend!

Well curated tour made exceptional by a stellar guide - I went for the history and ended up.learning so much more! Our guide, Katerina, was excellent: so knowledgeable and engaging. As well as the history (incredibly ancient Kamiros, the island under Romans, Knights of St John, and, more recently, Italy) I learnt about agriculture, flora and fauna, when it snows on Rhodes, botany after wildfires, and so much more. I loved the myth of the Cypress Tree, and the historical tale of Kallipatiera. We could not believe the value of the tour, so reasonably priced for so much. Thank you, Katerina and Manos Going 😊

Fascinating tour with knowledgeable guide - Our tour guide Katerina has an incredible wealth of knowledge. She taught us so much about the history of the island and the local flora and fauna with some gorgeous Greek mythology along the way. The well air-conditioned bus and chilled water bottles were game changing in the hot summer sun. A fantastic day out, well worth it for anyone interested in history.

Amazing tour guides, fabulous sites to see and great views - I would really recommend going on the tour with Manos going - Anthony our bus driver and Katirina(? So sorry we can’t remember the spelling) our tour guide were amazing! The bus was air conditioned & had bottles of water available to purchase for about 50c, which were definitely needed as it was very hot. The ruins of Kamiros were great to look round, and our guide found a great shady spot at the top of the hill to talk about everything we could see before letting us go off and explore. Great ruins and well preserved with a good view from the top. This is very hot in the sun so bring a hat, and sensible shoes! A side note, there are toilets there also but may be a queue. We then set off to our photo stop fort Kitrinia, where we climbed up to the top of the fort, with everything we could see explained to us and had a great view. The view from the absolute top of the fort was amazingly clear & we could see all the other islands from there too. This was a bit uneven as there are no steps and no handrail going up to the top, just rocks, so if you are not mobile or a bit wobbly on your feet I would recommending skipping that part (although if you are able bodied 100% go for it!). We then got back on the coach, thankfully the air conditioning was working well as we were a bit hot by then & set off to our next stop Empona for lunch. Here we were given the option of eating with ‘Mama’ at the restaurant that they recommended or going elsewhere. We went with the tour guides recommendation & it did not disappoint. We had two starters each: a Greek salad of feta, tomato, cucumber & olives, and also meatballs and tzatziki. There was a choice of mains so we had the Greek chicken, rice & potatoes/chips, and also the moussaka which was to die for. This was washed down with a big jug of white wine, and followed with some fruit. We also had a basket of bread, olive oil & vinegar - total cost €16!! We then set off back, stopping off at the little church on the way which was beautiful and again our guide imparted her knowledge about the place and what everything meant, and then we had a stop at the fountain to see the little Greek fish and Koi (remember to take some bread with you from lunch). We had a trip back to the hotel & had a lot of sights to see. What a great tour for the money & they really looked after us!

Great trip - We loved this trip! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her subject matter and we learned a lot. There are quite a few stops so you only get a short time in each, but it was enough! We particularly enjoyed seeing the ruins at Kamiros

Good day trip for thise interested in history - Kamiros and Kristinia's Castle. Also Katerina's commentary was excellent, both on the sites visited and on Rhodes in general. The timings for the visits to different sites was about right. The bus was comfortable and the a/c worked well on a very hot day.
