- Eparchiaki Odos Ialisou-Katavias - Hiking: 10 km and 500m of altitude difference. Along an enchanting path in the woods (10km and 500m altitude difference) you arrive at a cave hidden in the mountain: “Limeri”. This cave, very important during the Second War, was an espionage base for the partisan movements and home to a radio station. Continuing, passing by the small church of Ag.Ioannis, you arrive at the top of the 2nd mountain on the island: Mount Akramitis. Here the green meets the “Aegean blue” for a breathtaking panorama. The whole area is included in the European habitat network “NATURA 2000” and is protected as a “monument of nature” because, in addition to the particular morphology, the natural beauty and the dense pine and cypress forest, it contains unique ecosystems of wild fauna and flora . The descent passes through a mainly stony path and boasts a fascinating view. Good athletic preparation required.

A wonderful way to experience the island - A truly wonderful way to spend a day. This was my second hike with Hiking Rhode. I highly recommend this walk if you like hiking, it is a fantastic way to see the island in a different way.
The hike was thoroughly enjoyable taking in different terrains and points of interest including Limeri Cave and St John Church. You are rewarded with the most stunningly beautiful panoramic views from the top.
Manuela was the perfect guide, professional, friendly and full of knowledge about the area, history, plants and nature.

Rhodes is not just the sea - Beautiful hike and wonderful view from the top. Also interesting is the detour to the cave with a story told by the very knowledgeable Elisa. Different landscapes and very particular flowers surrounded a beautiful day.

Thanks Hiking Rhodes girls. - In my opinion, their expertise and love for the island of Rhodes make the Hiking Rhodes girls the best guides to discover the hidden side of the Rose Island.
Along the climb to the top of Akramitis, we discover that Rhodes is not just the sea, spectacular, but Italian History with a capital "S", lush flora and surprising fauna. Thank you Elisa, Manuela and Ornella, we never wanted to stop listening to you.

Experience the intense scents and colors of the island of Rhodes - True mountain route among the greenery of cypresses and Aleppo pines enriched by the colors of asphodels, rockroses, dracunculus and sage. Extremely panoramic route which, from the top, opens out onto the deep blue sea dotted with numerous islands. An exciting discovery at every step, guided with great competence and enthusiasm by Elisa and Manuela, always reassuring and present for advice and clarifications. Definitely an experience to recommend to many friends!!

The sea seen from the mountain - A truly stimulating experience proposed by Hiking Rhodes which allows you to visit the island of Rhodes with different eyes. Not only spectacular views of the island but exploration, at a slow pace, of little-frequented places to learn about the environment and history of an island where Italians have left their mark. And then there is the possibility of weaving dialogues with people who share the desire for a holiday that is not just the sea. The organization is excellent, precise and reliable, ready to pamper you along the way with a coffee, a biscuit, a sweet. The view of the sunset from Monolithos Castle with a truly special Greek aperitif. Well done!
