Well worth a visit - Symi is very picturesque with it's houses of different colours clustered on the hillside. I was travelling alone and walk with a crutch. The staff on the boat could not have been more helpful. One lady in particular found me a safe place to sit where I was close to the toilet, didn't have far to get off the boat, didn't have any steps to negotiate, and still had a chance to look at the scenery, providing no one stood in front of me. All together a very enjoyable day I would recommend to anyone.

Boat day trip to Symi island from Rhodes - Took a boat trip to Symi which cost €45 for an adult, we were picked up by coach at 0800, The boat left at 1000 and took 1.75 hours and the boat was jam packed. But there was stunning views of the Turkish coast. We got 3 hours in Symi town which was sufficient as the weather was hot, hot, hot. There are numerous shops, restaurants and souvenir kiosks. The boat left at 1400 and sailed around the coast of Symi to the Monastry of Panormitis, this took 60minutes, I thought the area was stunning but I felt it was an excuse to extract money from the tourists. The boat left at 1600 and arrived in Rhodes town about 1800 where we boarded the bus back to Ialyssos.

The yacht experience was Great! - The prestige crew were fab, I would reccomend doing a trip like this with fewer people. The food was okay. I would choose the lasagne next time, the chicken was a bit dry. Emily was great and the captain was funny. The transfer was quick and easy.. we had our own mini bus on the way back too! The lady in the ixia tour shop was really helpful, I couldn’t remember her name but she had a big tattoo on her arm. Also take a windproof jacket as it was really windy in the way to symi island.

Full day experience to beautiful Symi - Symi was a beautiful island, with colourful houses and an abundance of restaurants. The cruise company was efficient and the crossing from Rhodes was smooth luckily. However if a cruise ship is visiting Rhodes it will be busy and suggest booking a few days before. The first stop at the Monastery was about an hour. Worth the short visit to look round and visit the local bakery. Couple of eateries as you get off the boat too. Chose this particular tour as we didn’t want to swim at St George’s bay. Viator used Manos and the coach turned up on time and at the stop directly outside our hotel (Shereton) Souvenirs appeared a little more expensive than on Rhodes itself. Good value for money

Beautiful island! - Excellent trip! Nice boat ride. Monastery visit was just OK. I don't swim but those who did had fun. Symi was beautiful and I love that I could visit independently rather than with a guide. Free to explore with time for lunch.

Beautiful quaint little village - The boat trip was lovely and it took around 90 minutes to get there from Rhodes. The stopping at the monastery was a welcomed stop and beautiful part of the island. Was also nice to be able to get a free/donation only candle to be able to light for my late mother. Symi itself is quite small and a fit paced walker can cover the island in about 1-2 hours but there’s plenty of time there to cover all the sites you’d want to see. Beach was the only letdown as it’s tiny with mainly stones and no sand there. Overall a pleasant trip and worth the money to visit.

Nice visit to Simi, but welcome on the boat could be better. - The visit to Simi was generally a nice day trip. You can walk around nicely and rest in a nice restaurant or nice bar. The visit to the monastery is disappointing and quite chaotic. Nice on the outside, but there is nothing to see on the inside. Luckily, the entrance is free. The boat trip itself does indeed take a long time. We unfortunately had the accident that the bus that picked us up at the hotel stopped fairly far from the boat, while it poured rain with pipe stems outside. We had to hurry enormously to follow a woman who was going to lead us to the boat, while we were all rained down to our socks. People who had a little difficulty walking were also not taken into account that they were lagging behind enormously. Once on the boat we were stopped in a rather busy and unfriendly way to show our ticket, while we were completely soaked and did not have our mobile phone immediately at hand for that. A slightly warmer welcome after such a struggle through the rain would have been nice. Bad start to the day, but fortunately later we were able to put it into perspective from when we were in Simi city.
