Highlights
  • Swartz Bay Terminal - Embark on a journey with the BC Ferry! This primary mode of transportation takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to travel. Many travelers use the ferry to commute between Vancouver and Victoria. Built in Germany, these ferries can hold up to approximately 400 cars, which is quite impressive! The ferry ride offers stunning scenic views, including surrounding islands, seagulls, and occasionally, dolphins if you’re fortunate.
Remark: The tour guide will organize the itinerary. The BC ferries company you will use on the tour will depend on availability that day. Please consult the tour guide for more details.

  • The Butchart Gardens - Experience the splendor of the Butchart Gardens! These gardens are unlike any other, offering a magical and enchanting experience. Attracting over a million visitors annually, the gardens were established in 1904 and are now recognized as a National Historic Site. In Spring, the gardens are filled with the fragrances and vibrant colors of tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths. By the end of May, the rose garden becomes the highlight of the summer season. The gardens also feature open stage and music performances in July and August, along with a delightful fireworks show and views of a beautiful, colorful water fountain.

  • Chinatown - Victoria’s Chinatown is the oldest in Canada and the second oldest in North America, following San Francisco’s. It is now surrounded by cultural and entertainment venues and is a destination in itself. Conveniently located just minutes from other attractions like the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, Bay Centre, Empress Hotel, Market Square, and more.

  • Inner Harbour - Victoria Harbor, including the Inner Harbor, is considered one of the most beautiful harbors globally. With a rich history dating back to its use by First Nations, the harbor now hosts recreational vessels and small cruise ships in the heart of this heritage city, just steps away from historic streets and unique architecture.

  • Mile Zero - Situated in the scenic Beacon Hill Park in British Columbia’s capital, Mile 0 marks one of the symbolic starting points of the Trans-Canada Highway on the Pacific Coast. Conceived in the late 1940s and built between 1950 and 1971, the highway was the longest uninterrupted highway in the world upon completion, stretching 4,860 miles (7,821 kilometers) across all 10 of Canada’s provinces, traversing the Rocky Mountains and the vast prairies of central Canada.

The Butchart Gardens were the star of the show with all of the wonderful flowers and their smells. Our guide, Kim, was very helpful and professional. Well worth it - We fit a lot into the two day tour and Gary Cheng, our guide, did a great job. The Butchart Gardens are worth a visit. Be sure to grab a gelato. Also a burger from Blue Poppy.

Wonderful day trip to Victoria! - My mum and I went on a tour to Victoria in Vancouver Island on Saturday March 9th. We had a very lovely experience thanks to our guide Gary Cheng. Gary was very prompt at responding to our queries before the tour started re pick up time and location. On the day he was perfectly on time and we were able to spot the bus right away thanks to his exact vehicle description. During the tour he was friendly, engaging, accommodating and informative, and made our tour very memorable. We highly recommend the tour and our guide Gary.

Not much to see and lunch in horror restaurant - It took until the afternoon until we got to see anything worthwhile. The Chinese restaurant we were unloaded at for lunch was a total rip-off. We’re not Chinese, and got treated like we shouldn’t be there. Once I said I was vegetarian)also no fish, seafood), they hated us even more. We got given sauces that clearly contained fish/seafood (good luck to those with allergies) and massively overcharged there. That, sadly, ruined the whole tour for us. Avoid!
