Awesome thing to do if you're coming to Richmond Virginia - Taylor was a great guide. She knows a lot about the history of Richmond and a lot about the restaurant and chefs at each restaurant we stopped at. The food flavors were awesome. Highly recommend booking early if you're coming to Richmond. To guarantee your spot.

Downtown Richmond food tour - Our tour guide, Taylor, was energetic and very knowledgeable about interesting Richmond facts. We started in the art district at Lillie Pearl, and had our favorite sample, a delicious short rib, pimento cheese, and collard green eggroll. From there we went to an Ethiopian coffeehouse, which was our least favorite location. It was full of smoke, so several people needed to stay outside. Also, in that location we were approached twice by a drifter who interrupted the tour trying to interject commentary. Next favorite location was Sugar and Spice, a small hole in the wall bakery where we had a delicious passionfruit tart. Other favorites included Mam J’s catfish and colored greens, oysters at Rappahannock, and tacos at an AsianMexican fusion restaurant. The tour could be improved by re-ordering the food choices. Would have preferred to have saved the bakery and coffee to the end. All in all an enjoyable sunny November afternoon excursion. Thank you!

Taylor had so much... - Taylor had so much information and she did a great good relating the food to the historical area. The restaurant choice was good and the experience was amazing. The tour has given me a better appreciation for my city. Go RVA!

Yummy Richmond Food Tour! - Taylor was an excellent guide! She was well informed about each of the restaurants we visited, and about the history of the neighborhoods. The fried chicken and bread pudding at Buttermilk and Honey on Grace were amazing, as was the short rib egg roll at Lillie Pearl!

Taylor made it very special. She was knowledgeable and fun. She felt like a member of my family. She was fun! - I thought that everything went well. The portions at Mama J's were very small, but I enjoyed it. Everything was really good. I loved it.

It was fine - We would like more history and more talking to the whole group. The food, fir the most part, was just ok.

Just okay - Very disappointing! Our tour guide, Sarah, was great! The food options were very blah! The first restaurant Lily Pearl was great but then it went downhill. Our next stop was an Ethiopian coffee shop. The was a soy o hospitality when we walked in. Very blah and basic. Our third stop was Mama’s, I think, had even less hospitality. We had to stand outside and eat standing up. The portions were so small and not good. The last two stop revived the tour somewhat.

Poor - The people were strange and so was our tour guide. Did not talk much. Most of the food was poor and would not ear it. Definitely NOT worth the $180 I spent for this. Never again.

Stressful and not worth it! - The most memorable part is that I had to deal with food allergies the whole time. Being told at booking that there would be no problems to end up with a possible 4 or of 6 places I might get to eat. I had to fight for getting to eat what I had paid for. The portions were small and not worth the money! Don't waste your money!!!
