- Kuldiga - We will drive to Kuldiga for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once we arrive, we will start the tour in this beautiful ancient city. Here, you will walk through Kuldiga’s old town and enjoy traditional Baltic architecture from the 13th to the early 20th centuries. You will also enjoy some amazing parks, a river, the widest waterfall in Europe where we might see salmon jumping up, and the longest old brick bridge in Europe.
- Ragaciems - We will get back in the car and drive for 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach a beach on the Baltic Sea. At this hidden, paradisiacal beach that doesn’t even appear on Google Maps, you will enjoy a Latvian picnic and admire the country’s beauty. After this, we will drive for about 1 hour to return to Riga.
- Kemeri National Park - Visit one of the most important national parks in Latvia and be impressed by its nature and small lakes scattered all around. Here, you will enjoy the Great Kemeri Bog Boardwalk and the majestic flora and fauna that surround Kemeri National Park.
- Jurmala - You will visit Jurmala beach and downtown. Here, you will admire the top beach in the Baltics, with white sandy shores surrounded by forests. This is a place you would never imagine exists in this part of the world. Additionally, we will walk along Jomas Street, where you will admire traditional Latvian architecture, bars, and restaurants, and see one of the cutest Orthodox churches, Our Lady of Kazan.
- Freedom Monument - After all these adventures, we will drive you back to the Freedom Monument, where we started the tour, or to your hotel.

Great daytrip from Riga - Jimmy was a fantastic tour guide. While driving to the different stops, he had many interesting stories to share.
He introduced local food and drinks of Latvia for the picknick. It was delicious. The picknick place was next to a beautiful beach. You can also go for a quick swim into the sea.
All the places we visited on the tour were interesting und picturesque- Kuldiga, Jurmala, Kamerun National Park, ...
I would definitely recommend this tour.

Best way to see Latvia in one day! - Great full day tour that consisted of various aspects of Latvia. Jimmy was a fantastic guide who provided a lot of information and answered so many questions. If you want to see a snapshot of the country in a single day, then this is a great way to do it. You’ll also get to experience Latvian food and music at a picnic near the beach.

Fantastic tour! - My tour with Jimmy was fantastic.
The best way for me to describe my experience, is that it felt personal. It felt like I was visiting my family in another country for the first time, and Jimmy was like my long lost cousin who hadn’t seen me since we were kids and cleared his schedule to entertain me (perhaps because his mother told him he had to 😂). The extra effort he put into not just the tour but in connecting with me on a personal level and making me feel at ease as truly wonderful. It felt as though we had known each other for years and he certainly took all my fear away of asking silly questions with his calm, open and knowledgable disposition.
Jimmy was fully attentive and engaged the entire ride. I got to see so much of Latvia in one day. It’s hard to decide which was the best of the tour as all of the sights were hand picked and carefully and tastefully curated.
Jimmy is a safe driver, makes a great picnic, is well read on the history and is eager to paint the full picture in every instance.
Did I mention that part of the tour will take you to the most amazing cafeteria?
I’m really happy I got to go on this tour and will remain grateful to Jimmy for a very long time. Needless to say, I highly recommend him!

Worth getting out of the city to explore more of Latvia - My sister and I booked this tour with Jimmy as we were looking for a tour to get outside of Riga and explore more of Latvia. There were surprisingly not many tours like this offered, besides private tours. It ended up only being the 2 of us though, but can be a small group. Since it was just us, Jimmy picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel and we could be more flexible with the schedule such as spending more or less time at certain stops.
At first I wasn't sure since there were not a lot of reviews. However, Jimmy is an experienced tour guide who is originally from Chile, where he has a tour company, but now splits his time between Latvia and Chile and has started building his tours in Latvia. He has lived in Latvia for a number of years (his wife is from Latvia) and he knows good areas to take you where there are fewer tourists. We visited beautiful quaint towns and beaches, had a snack at a charming cafe, had a meal in a local restaurant (was not touristy) in Jurmala, walked on the bog in the national park (wear long sleeves and pants due to mosquitos). It was a full day ~12 hrs. You will still wish you had more time in each of the stops as there is much to explore.
I definitely recommend taking this tour to explore more of Latvia. It was expensive, though it was a full day tour that ended up being private. I probably would have preferred a slightly bigger group to make it more affordable. I recommend this tour - you will enjoy it!

The best loval latvian trip with a lots of nate and history - Trip was very nice, the car ride was comfortable. We stopped for amazing desert and pick-nick with local food. Kuldiga is very nice historical city. During the car ride your're gonna see a lots of trees and Latvian nature. Jimmie is very talkative and fun person and was super attentive to all out needs.

Amazing - The trip was beautiful. We had a lot of fun with jimmy, the driver, he knows a lot about the country. The food was good! Latvijas landscapes are amazing!

Individualized tour in a small group with many stops - This excursion takes place in a very small group, so that individual wishes can be met. The food is great, the sights very nice and the guide very warm.

Great guide, beautiful country - Had a really wonderful day with Jimmy. He tailored the tour to what I was hoping, and made the day a lot of fun. It was great seeing so much of Latvia with someone who loves it. The waterfall and bog were great outdoor activities. The homemade snacks added to the day, as did the soundtrack! Jimmy was easy to communicate with and made the experience great.
