Excellent tour of downtown Riga. - Very nice tour. I really enjoyed learning about the history of Riga and Latvia in general. Baiba did a great job explaining the places and buildings we walked by and the stories about them. She also did an excellent job giving us recommendations for authentic Latvian restaurants. I would recommend this tour.

Lots of history in the beautiful old town - My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour- we were the only two on it, so it was a private tour of the old town! We learned a lot about the city and the history of Latvia as well- our guide was extremely knowledgable and made some recommendations for places to stop in after the tour as well. This was a great way to see the Old town and learn about its history.

Informative, well organized and FREE ! - Every day at 11am at designated point there is a free walking tour of Riga in English/German and Latvian, covers all the main places of interest within the Old Town and at zero cost why would one not participate. A really good exercise in city hospitality, other capital cities take note!

We are so glad we took this tour... -
We are so glad we took this tour because our charming and knowledgeable guide, Maria, told us the history and stories that allowed us to more fully appreciate Riga's Old Town. The Old Town is charming, beautiful and very easy to walk through. This tour made our visit more enjoyable and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Riga. Additionally, Maria told us about Riga's Art Nouveau architectural history and, had we know about that beforehand, we would've booked a tour with her to see that district.

Not to be missed - We now take more walking tours as this is a much better way than a bus to familiarise yourselves with the layout and history of the town. The guide was excellent with a wealth of enthusiasm and local knowledge. It really did help us to learn about Riga and it was an excellent start to our stay.

Nice place - Must visit area - especially the churches, shops and the bars. Nice place to be when the weather is nice. The streets give you nostalgic feelings. It is a little expensive though so try not to buy anything from there.

A lot of Art Nuveau - We enjoyed the walking tour in the old city together with our very kind guide. There is a lot of great old buildings and the guide spoke a lot about them and we’ll be able to recognize art nouveau for ever, but we would have liked a little more history and a few anecdotes about recent time too.
