WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
- How to choose snorkel equipment for the best personal fit
- Identification of various local marine life
- How to protect the reef
- Snorkeling tips
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- NO BOAT IS REQUIRED to access the prime snorkeling spots. Your guide will lead you from the shore directly to the heart of the marine reserve.
- Arrive at the dive center at the time specified on your reservation for check-in.
- Meet your guide for professional equipment fitting and a briefing on the location and local marine life.
- Follow the guide in your own transportation to the tour entry point (approximately 5 minutes from the dive center).
- The tour lasts about 3 hours in total, including 1 hour in the water.
IDEAL FOR:
- Comfortable swimmers (beginner snorkelers are welcome)
- Fun for the whole family. For children under age 10, please contact the dive center for personalized booking assistance.
- If your group’s number of participants exceeds the available online booking quantity, please call the Dive Center.

EXPERT GUIDANCE:

Meet at Rincon Diving & Snorkeling, Rd 115, Km 12.0, in Rincon for check-in and professional equipment fitting. Thereafter, snorkelers self transport to the entry at Tres Palmas Marine Reserve (5 min drive). Sorry, insurance restrictions do not allow passengers to ride with guides.

Girls snorkel trip - The whole crew was helpful and engaging. Tiger, our guide, knew the reef very well and pointed out some beautiful fish and so many varieties of coral. Got some local advice on food and drinks. We had a great day!!

Thank you Laurel! - Took a trip out of Black Eagle Beach with Laurel and loved it! Got to see two sleeping nurse sharks, a baby sea turtle and several other schools of fish. Laurel was very helpful with pointing out where the sharks could be found and provided a ton of interesting information about the area and what we were seeing. I highly recommend snorkeling with this outfit, I'll be back out at some point to try diving next.

Excellent morning snorkeling the reef. - Laurel was an excellent guide. She lwas informtive and led us to 2 nurse sharks, turtles,various small fish on the reef and a tarpon. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Great snorkeling trip - Claire was a great guide who helped us out a lot because we were first timers. It was a great experience and we saw lots of beautiful marine life that we have never seen before (squid, sea turtles, fish, coral, etc.)

Exceeded our expectations!🌴 - I'm Puertorican and I hadn't been to the island in 10 years. My husband and I live in Texas and were looking forward to this snorkeling tour. It exceeded our expectations!!!
Laurel pointed out many colorful schools of fish, an octopus in hiding, a large lobster, blue and purple corals and many other sea creatures, but what made our day were the two turtles that were gracefully swimming close to us, unafraid, swimming up to breathe and then gracefully diving back in. Laurel is very knowledgeable, I definitely recommend this tour!

The calm before the storm - The team is so nice! We were outfitted with all the gear for our group of 4. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
We were able to snorkel the morning before Hurricane Ernesto. It was incredible. Tons of coral and fish. Plus, we saw a nurse shark and spotted ray thanks to our guide’s eye!

Beyond expectations - Excellent. Truly. They had masked with prescription. First time ever experiencing that. They were also incredibly conscious and aware of my six year old. We will certainly come back.

Great guided snorkeling trip - Great guided snorkeling at Tres Palmas with Giovanni and Claire. Excellent location, plenty of fish to see. Nature preserve is very accessible, right off of the beach.

Giovani and Claire were amazing guides, they were patient, knowledgeable and friendly. Strongly recommended! - Giovani and Claire were awesome guides! The coral reef was amazing, we saw all kinds of coral, fish and even a sea turtle. I went with my family of 6 and it was an experience they will never forget.

Great Time for a First Time Snorkeler - It was my first time snorkeling, and man, what a work out! The water was super clear, and we got to see a ton of coral, tangs, and a turpon! One snorkeler spotted an eel too! No sea turtles this time, but hey, you can’t control nature. Giovanni was an AMAZING guide! He was friendly, patient, and informative (and really funny too). They also have prescription goggles for no extra charge, which was perfect for me. Thank you so much for the great experience!
