Informative tour on the history of flora and fauna of the island and how it was affected by the different arrivals - Very informative visit in the exhibition the nursery and the endemic forest with the Guide Mr Avish who is passionate and explains super well.

Nice excursion - The excursion was booked by our agency as we got married on the island and was in combination with the 7 colored earth and the Chamarel waterfall. We were taken by bus to different stages and we were explained a lot. Towards the end of the tour there was a beautiful viewpoint where we got snacks and a drink. Afterwards we were taken to a suitable place to plant our “Love Tree”. We were told the place number of the tree if we want to visit it one day. We found it a beautiful gesture within the scope of the honeymoon.

Great work at Ebony Forest! - Fantastic experience at Ebony Forest! We went hiking up to Le Morne View Point and it was great; the path was well laid out and safe. The view was out of this world! We wanted to go further, but it was already quite late, so we returned. The next day, we booked a Love Tree Tour and planted an endemic tree. It was such a wonderful experience, topped with a jeep trip to some other parts of the park with walks through the forest (we even saw some endemic animals like geckos and flycatchers!) and Sublime Point Viewpoint, where we had something to drink and eat as part of the Love Tree Package. The museum and shop are also well worth a visit. All of the guides and staff are very friendly and very helpful! We can only recommend this place to everyone who is passionate about nature and wants to support reforestation while enjoying great views and experiencing the endemic fauna and flora.

💯 Go for it! - This was one of a kind experience in life. We had the best time in the silence of a magnificent forest… The staff is absolutely incredible. Special thanks to our guide Krish who took the necessary time to explain to us a lot of things about this ethereal place. The view at the top is the reason why we called Mauritius a paradise… No words will be enough to describe it. Really recommend this jewel! 🫶🏽

Great experience - We visited Ebony Forest due to our wedding in Mauritius. On arrival, a heart-shaped tablet greeted us by name. Unfortunately we arrived a bit late and the tour was already going on but Chris our guide has come back and collected us. With the jeep we drove through the park and repeatedly made stops where we went into the forest and Chris told us everything worth knowing. We were few people so that was enough time for asking. On the way we met Franklin and Taiz (turtles). They walked free and we could feed them grasses and take pictures. They were super relaxed and it was really fun to see that they could just walk free there. We have seen huge spiders as well as birds and lizards. On the viewing platform you have an overwhelming view of the mountains and the sparkling sea where we also saw a giant flying dog.There you can also buy a snack and drink. Was included in the package for us. On the way down, Chris stopped and picked fruit from the tree. It tasted great. At the bottom, our little tree was already standing what we could plant. On a small tree disc we were able to enter the name and date and label the heart panel and take pictures. I can really recommend the tour. We had a lot of fun. Chris ist cool. Even the journey by jeep is full of experience. It stumbles 😅 and you have a great view of the park. Danke Chris 😃

Love Tree Tour - We have had the most amazing time at Ebony Forest this morning. We participated in the Love Tree tour, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Chris our guide was excellent, he took great care of us and shared his knowledge and passion for the forest.

Perfect excursion for couples that love nature! - We visited Mauritius for our honeymoon and in advance our friends gifted us this tour. We didn´t know what to expect, but included was a short introduction to Ebony Forest, a ride in a jeep, some tasty snacks and drinks, a guided tour through the forest where we saw many different plants and animals and planting our tree was the finishing touch. Our tour guide was Chris, he had profound knowledge about the flora and fauna, as well as the history of Mauritius and was overall a really likeable and humorous person.
