Cruise in the Santorini's island - A very good day. The shuttle, the travel with the boat was superb. Get the possibillity to visit the volcano responsable of the most powerfull eruption is incredible. The sunset to Oia was fabulous also. The guide spoke in french to explain the history detals, he's really invested. I recommend this.

Make sure you go on this trip if you are in Santorini! - A great value, unforgettable experience! We climbed an active volcano, swam in the hot springs and had lunch on the island of Thirassia, whilst being transported on what looked like an old pirate ship. Our guide Yanos easily flitted between every European language you could think of, and was knowledgeable and friendly. The coach trips were comfortable. The evening trip to Oia wasn’t a great sunset, but it was still a lovely place to see (and very busy and expensive, so we’re very glad we didn’t stay there). The only negative comment I have is that the area around the volcanic springs had a lot of industrial metal/fly tipping around it - hopefully the Greek Government will do something to clean it up! I’d happily have done this day trip every day for the whole holiday, we had such a lovely time.

I climbed a volcano!!! - We had a great time. The price was reasonable for the experience. It was very organized considering many people with multiple languages. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed being on the water. They provided great insights into the area and its history. Our first stop was hiking the volcano which was perfect. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to make it with the heat and the climb yet a few rest stops and wow what a view! Any chance to jump in the Aegean is worth taking. The hot springs are more warm than hot but worth the swim. Thirassia was relaxing - we had lunch at the port. I wasn't up for the climb to the village. All in all a great way to spend a day.

Unforgettable Cruise experience - This cruise experience is my favourite so far I’ve been picked up at my place at the exact time. The route was exactly like I wished for. You got many good explanation from the guide on board who speak multiple languages. this is the perfect cruise if you like to get deep in the secrets of Santorini and the volcano and the beautiful island of Thirassia.

Volcanic Island Cruise - Sadly my gf and I couldn't do the hike to the volcano or the swimming because I had hurt my t-band muscle and could walk up steep inclines yet and she had twisted her ankle in Thessaloniki before we got to Santorini. But did get to meet some interesting people see the spots and the great views from the ship. Also, learned a little more of the history of the sea, volcano and sulfer hot springs and did get to walk around Thirassia.

Cancellation due to bad weather handled badly - It was cancelled due to bad weather. Just be aware that the 9.15 start time is only from one of the stops and some places they don’t arrive until 9.45 - not especially nice to wait half an hour in the rain in a car park with no shelter. We were driven down to the port - told to wait in the bus and without any explanation the bus driver took off - it was another passenger who informed us that the boats had been cancelled. So if the weather is bad i would just be cautious- can’t comment on the rest of it

Abandoned by our bus in the middle of the night 6 km from our hotel - The cruise is nice and friendly, our guide was very good, available, nice, funny and spoke very good French but the organization is disastrous. A bus picks you up near your hotel to take you to the port. The bus was on time but at the port it is an incredible bazaar. The groups are very large, there are several boats, no one knows where to go. You are told to wait, you wait, everyone walks past you. You think you have your ticket but no, someone distributes papers with numbers. Once on the boat it runs the rest of the day, which is very nice. On the way back to port the bazaar is monstrous. You have to get on numbered buses, we had a number but no bus, finally we are redistributed, bus 6 becomes the 5th but there is no room for everyone, new redistribution... we finally arrive in Oía for sunset which is beautiful but there is a huge crowd. You have to be on the bus at a certain time not to stay there, we get back on our bus but new redistribution of passengers, no announcement, people inform each other. We're finally leaving. Our hotel is normally the last one served but we do not go there. When only we remained on the bus the driver told us that he stopped near our hotel... nearby, not in the agreed point and we had to guess. He got us off the bus six miles from our hotel at 10:00 p.m. with no alternative, take care of yourself, miss. Fortunately the Greeks are generally very helpful and kind people. A young woman who works in a supermarket called us a taxi. We planned to do other activities with the same organization but we will not do them.

Worst experience - We took the volcanic islands tour with a hot springs visit, provided by NST Santorini Tours. The boat's name is Captain John. Unfortunately, the captain of the cruise is one of the most racist, rude, and arrogant people I have ever met. To explain, we are people with brown skin-tone, and the captain didn’t ask anyone else on the cruise whether they could swim, but he did ask my dad if he could swim. My dad is a good swimmer and even swam in the middle of the ocean last week. My dad had just gotten into the ocean when, for reasons unknown to me, the captain decided my dad couldn’t swim and told him to come back up. He said this in a rude and very arrogant way. The captain did the same thing to another person with brown skin-tone on the cruise. I am a doctor myself and know the worth of a life, and I would never have let my dad swim if he was not capable. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that people with brown skin-tone avoid this cruise ship due to the captain's discriminatory behavior. On a positive note, the guide was super nice and explained everything in detail. She even collected some rocks from the volcano for me, as I requested. Her kindness and professionalism were the only redeeming aspects of this tour.
