In the Las Coloradas lagoon, salt has been extracted from the sea for decades. This area is home to the second-largest salt industry in the country. The lagoon is not always bright pink, it depends on the sun and the stage of salt production. None of us can predict it. Swimming in Las Coloradas is strictly prohibited and can really hurt your skin.

• Rio Lagartos - Then you will board a boat to begin the second part of the tour, a tour of Ria Lagartos through canals and lagoons. On this tour, you will go bird watching and observe beautiful pink flamingos, herons, pelicans, eagles, frigate birds, and geese, maybe even see some crocodiles if we are lucky!
