Excellent Experience! We Highly Recommend. - My family and I hired Sama Tranfers twice on our recent trip to Costa Rica, and we were extremely happy with the service we received. We strongly recommend them. Th first drive was from San Jose airport to our hotel in Manuel Antonio, which was about 3 hours. Rebecca was our driver and she was excellent. She met us at the airport just as had been communicated, and she could not have been nicer. She is an excellent driver and knew the roads well; we felt very safe in her care. We do not speak very much Spanish, but we had no trouble communicating with Rebecca. Our next drive was the 6-hour journey from Manuel Antonio to Guanacaste. We were thrilled to learn that Rebecca would be our driver again, and her skills were just as good as they were on our drive from the airport. We made a few stops along the way for restrooms and refreshments, and she always knew the best places. (Side note: restrooms in Costa Rica are so much cleaner than in the U.S.!) But the highlight for us was when she stopped so that we could see crocodiles after we mentioned that we had not seen any in the national park. Rebecca is excellent at her job. We were impressed with Sama Transfers’ communication with us, and the two vans we rode in were very comfortable and had top-notch air conditioning. Muchas gracias to Rebecca and Sama Transfers!

Great ride to Quepos / Manuel Antonio - Absolutely outstanding service! They were waiting right outside the exit doors of the airport with a sign with our name on it, insisted on loading the bags in the van for us, and provided ice cold water bottles. We stopped after an hour for a great restaurant for lunch and outdoor seating, and then stopped again a bit later to look at crocodiles under a bridge which my family loved! They also offered to stop at a supermarket prior to reaching our destination so we could stock up on supplies! Really friendly and chill situation, all afternoon. Thanks!

SJO to Quepos - Very nice driver. He was on time and very friendly. He told us about the local area. We got to our destination in Quepos safely.

Excellent Transfers Between SJO and Manuel Antonio! - We had great shuttle experiences both ways between SJO and Manuel Antonio for our arrival and departure in Costa Rica with Rebecca at the helm! We were able to make few stops for bathroom breaks, snacks, and sightseeing at Puente de Cocodrilo (Crocodile Bridge) - Mike Tyson did not disappoint! We highly recommend this efficient and pleasant shuttle ride with Rebecca for any future Costa Rica transfers!

Airport transport to hotel - Rebecca was sweet, professional and a trustworthy driver. She planned a stop for a bathroom break and snack along the way. Pleasant trip with her both ways!

Reliable + comfortable + warm welcome. - I booked a transfer for Alfonso and his flight was like 5 hours late. Still Rebecca was there, waiting outside when he arrived. He was exhausted after a brutal experience at the airport but Rebecca made him feel welcome with her Tico warmth. She went above and beyond - exceeding his expectations. Made for a great first impression of Costa Rica.

Travel to Costa Rica - Had a great experience with SAMA Transfers (Joshua rom SJO to Manual Antonio & Rebecca from Manuel Antonio to SJO) Both had great customer attentiveness and cared about the needs of their passengers. Even had the opportunity to fully stop for lunch…which was not a problem for our driver. Air conditioned, comfortable and clean vehicles. Would highly recommend to any traveler.

Very Happy with Joshua and SAMA Transfers - Our driver Joshua spoke both Spanish and English. He was prompt, friendly, enthusiastic, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The van was modern, comfortable, and spacious. We were amazed by his patients considering the driving conditions. Traffic often moved very slow, and there were very few passing zones. He was a safe driver that didn't do anything unsafe due to frustration. We were very happy with SAMA Transfers and our driver Joshua.
