Interesting sights and educational experience - We enjoyed seeing the beautiful countryside and many towns within Transylvania, our guide (Andre) is very knowledgeable and provided us with a lot of information about the history of Romania along with extra details about Bran castle and Sighisoara- we highly recommend this tour!

A nice experience full day - The tour is really worth it, although it took a long journey from Cluj-Napoca. First stop was in Sighisoara. A beautiful place with a lot of history behind. The whole village is very interesting and I had a chance to eat mushroom soup which is delicious from the region with sour cream. We continued the journey for lunch break in a fish farm, where we could eat excellent and fresh fish. After lunch we proceeded to Dracula‘s Castle. Many people all year long. We have to queue to enter to the castle. It is good to learn some of the history behind the old stuffs displayed. I really enjoyed the whole exploration in the castle. Finally we have to head back to Cluj around 4hrs journey. We had the chance again to be guided by an expert Cristian. We learned a lot through out the journey. Thank you, it was a lovely trip.

Great day! - A day rich in discoveries and history. A dive into the heart of the country, its traditions, its past. An impressive architecture, the visit to the castle is worth the kilometers traveled. All accompanied by our guide Oliver who is at the top!

Recommended tour - The tour was very good. It was a small group and that make it easier in terms of time and flexibility. The guide was always nice and asking about what we want or what we need. He explain us about history of rumania in general but also in the places we were. Recommended. Just, you have to know it is a long tour, it took for us 3.5 hr. to come back to cluj.

Fabulous Day - Andrei our guide was very knowledgeable about local history and very helpful. Sighisoara is well worth the trip, a beautiful little town but wear comfy shoes as there is a lot of walking and steps! Bran castle also stunning. A fab day out, though a long one - picked up at the hotel at 07:30 and didn't get back until 22:30.

Super knowledgeable and considerate guide - Cristian was absolutely amazing. He picked us from the hotel and the car comfortably seated 3 ppl. From the beginning, he’s very engaging. He started by introducing the city a little to us and answering any questions we had. Then he continued to talk about the Clouj area - he’s super knowledgeable about the area because he has a degree in geography and tourism. What really made me think he’s a great guide is he was able to talk to things we pass by on the highway and give us a history lesson on Romania. His knowledge is admirable. When we at the castle, he also offered to let us walk around to check out souvenirs while he waited in line. It was 29C and he was offering to do that for us. There’s not a dull moment when in the car with him. Absolutely a treat.

Excellent tour and tour guide - I highly recommend this trip. It is definitely worth both the time and money. You will not only see a lot, but also learn a lot. Cristian is a terrific guide who tailors things to your needs. He gave us excellent information at the two sites as well as gave us a broad overview of the history of Romania as we were driving between places. He makes it personal and pleasurable. Sighișoara is a cute town with a lot of personality. Pretty to walk around and learn about. Bran Castle was also pretty and different from other castles I have been to. They play on that vampire element at the castle, even though in reality there isn't much of that here historically. If you are in Transylvania, it is worth seeing though. The drive between places is better on the way there because you have two stops to look forward to, but all in all it wasn't a super long drive. Cristian keeps you informed and entertained and you see so much of the pretty countryside on the way too.

One of a Kind Experience - I would recommend doing this tour! It's an all day tour from about 8 in the morning until 10 at night. A local guide picked me up in his car right from the front of my hotel in the center of Cluj-Napoca. We drove about 4 hours through the countryside and he explained some Romanian history as we drove. We arrived at the Bran Castle village, had lunch at a nice restaurant, and then toured the castle. After the castle, we drove to the village of Sighisoara and the guide gave a tour of this little town (would definitely recommend visiting this village). The guide was there to explain and answer any questions all day. A good tour! I will never forget my visit to the castle or to the beautiful country of Romania.

Half of it ok and it’s not the castle - Sighisoara is a lovely place to visit Unfortunately Dracula’s castle has nothing to do with Dracula or vlad the impaler. the castle is not a castle, more like a fortified house, inside there is a very basic house related more to the Romanian royal family than vlad . He didn’t stay at this location at all!
