Can’t wait to come back - Had an absolute blast! Booked BVI Apotheoseas twice in one trip! Captain Keanen is very knowledgeable, experienced, and really down to earth. Also makes one hell of a Painkiller. Both trips the swells were kind of rough and he made sure of a safe departure and arrival. Also got to swim with a couple of sea turtles at Peter Island during the first outing. I definitely recommend booking a half day, but you should really book a full day.

BVI Boat Tour - Our boat tour with Keenan through a variety of the BVI hot spots was outstanding! He made sure that the entire trip was well planned out and well supplied. We would certainly book another day trip with him the next time we're here! Highly recommend!!

Great boat, captain, and fun trip - Had a wonderful half/day cruise/ the captain was helpful and friendly, the boat in tip top shape, and the destinations were just what we were hoping for. Overall a great time was had by all If you’ve got a larger group or want to do serious snorkeling however, you might consider bringing your own equipment/ there were flippers and snorkels for four on the boat, but as we had six we needed to share. Otherwise, everything we expected was well stocked on board. Would definitely use again

Great day off the ship! - This is a great way to spend the day off a ship! We saw lots of the BVI and had lovely snorkeling and beach time.

Best Charter Boat Trip in Tortola!! - Our group of 10 went on a day charter with Captain Keanen and had a great time. Keanen knew all the great places to take us, places you can’t go without local knowledge and certainly not as part of any cruise boat excursion. We visited Peter Island to swim with the turtles, went to Willy T’s party barge, Saba Rock, Bitter End ,and tried to go to the Bath’s in Virgin Gorda but the water was too choppy , which was a real bummer because that was the main thing I wanted to see and do while in Tortola. If you are planning a visit to the area, whether staying there for multiple days or stopping for the day on a cruise, you should arrange to have the guys at Quintessence take you out and show you the best that the BVI has to offer - the area is absolutely beautiful and our entire group all agreed it was the highlight of our trip. We will definitely be back - thanks again for a memorable day!

Excellent time in Tortola - Had a fantastic time on our excursion. We got to visit Peter Island, Cooper Island, and Norman Island. Had the opportunity to swim and snorkel with turtles. Got to go to the coffee shop on Cooper Island for snacks and Pirates Bight for drinks and snacks. I would highly recommend this trip if you are visiting Tortola.

Fantastic day out with the office - I booked Quintessence for a half day charter for our office Christmas party, there were 12 of us. Quintessence were highly responsive and there was plenty of communication before the trip. Our captain, Keanan, messaged me the day before and on the day itself to ensure all arrangements were in place. The boat was well maintained and powerful, and Keanan navigated the waters expertly. We stopped for drinks at Cooper before dinner at Cocomaya on Virgin Gorda. We had a great day- highly recommend!

Keanen took us to little island, snorkeling around a coral reef, Willy T restaurant, and the Baths - We had an incredible experience on our boat trip with captain Keanen. He was extremely flexible with where we wanted to go and gave great suggestions to different places with amazing views!! We got the most out of it and we would do it again in a heartbeat. The pictures we got and memories we made will last a lifetime!

Great BVI Day Charter - Despite some unfavorable weather, we had a great time all around. Nate and Keenan were great hosts and captains. We greatly appreciate the flexibility in spots given the weather was not great but they certainly helped make it the best it could be. Half-day in Paradise! - We had an incredible half-day trip with Quintessence Charters on their boat, Apotheoseas, during our visit to Tortola, BVI. Although we couldn’t visit The Baths due to weather (still waiting for Quintessence to figure out how to fix that—hmm!), Captain Keanen made the experience unforgettable by taking us to secluded beaches with breathtaking scenery and some of the best snorkeling we’ve ever had. The variety of vibrant fish was a highlight for our family. Captain Keanen was outstanding—accommodating, respectful, and always ready with thoughtful suggestions for alternative spots. The Apotheoseas may look a bit unconventional, but it’s super stable and perfectly comfortable, especially in rough waters. It offered plenty of shade for those who needed it, and while boarding from the water was slightly challenging, Captain Keanen was always there to help. One highlight of the trip was visiting the iconic floating bar and restaurant Willy T’s, where we had a blast jumping into the water from the second deck. Their conch fritters were absolutely delicious—a must-try! I’d absolutely recommend this charter to anyone visiting Tortola. It’s conveniently located just a short walk from the cruise pier, and the entire process—from communication to execution—was seamless and enjoyable. Quintessence Charters made our trip a memorable adventure!
