BlueRidge Tour - worth every penny. - BlueRidge Parkway tour was nothing short of delightful - it was like skipping through a picturesque postcard brought to life! The winding roads, breathtaking mountain views, made for an unforgettable journey. From spotting turkeys grazing along the road to soaking in the beginnings of fall foliage, just about every roadside vista was like stepping into a Bob Ross painting. We so enjoyed the narrator and all the information given during the tour. Would most definitely recommend. We did have a little problem with gps when way up in the mountains, but it picked up quickly.

Our first Auto Tour and now we plan to do more. - Most time we take tours, you are on a van or bus with a lot of strangers while the guide tells you about the sites. We decided to try this experience WITHOUT the bus and strangers. The guide instead of being a person was an auto tour program called "Adventures with Action" we purchased through Trip Advisor. This is the first time we have used an auto tour program. We were in Roanoke Virginia and wanted to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway. This audio tour covered from Roanoke to Afton Virginia along the Blue Ridge highway. At first we had trouble getting the program to work. We had my phone connected to Android Auto in our Toyota. The problem was every time we started the program, our Pandora would start playing and cut off the audio tour. What we finally did was delete Pandora from my phone, then the touring program worked perfectly. Just turning Pandora off didn't work. I was amazed the audio program knew where we were and would turn on and off automatically telling interesting information about a stop just up ahead. On the Blue Ridge parkway, there are a number of turn offs. So the program told you which turnoff was coming up and what was to see there and why it was named what it was named. And in between stops he gave historical information about the area and what you were seeing. All very interesting. In 3 hours we had 62 audio sessions. One came up every couple of minutes making the trip very appealing. The person who spoke did a great job and made listening to him enjoyable. I guess, he had to be a professional actor or voice over artist. Either way, the voicing was great. Another nice feature was you could have the program, through Google Maps, take you from where ever you are (in our case Hotel Roanoke) and direct you to the starting point (on the Blue Ridge Parkway). VERY HELPFULL!!!!! Once at the starting point (and we removed Pandora) the program ran without a hitch. My wife and I were very happy with this product and plan to use similar products on future trips.

Beware - I tried contacting to cancel my trip due to a family issue. This was one day before scheduled tour. Difficult to get through to a person. Never received refund.
