Eternal Rome tour, Toni, - We had a wonderful day with Toni! She was super knowledgeable, all the restaurant owners came out to greet her, she was both fun and sociable. Can highly recommend taking the tour with her, her knowledge about italian food in general, and about the city specifically was great and she makes great company!

Delicious Food Tour with a Friendly Knowledgeable Guide - We took the 4-hour Eternal Rome Food Tour, which began with tastings in Campo de Fiori and continued with stops in the Jewish Ghetto and Trastevere. It was delicious! We met Kat, our guide, in the open-air market of Campo de Fiori and she was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable of all aspects of Italian food (not only Roman) and Roman history was well. As we walked from tasting to tasting, Kat would explain the history of areas we were going through. After a stroll through the outdoor market, we began our tastings at Norcineria Viola dal 1890, a shop that dates back over 130 years. Here we tasted cured several hams and cheeses. We went back into the outdoor market and at one of the vendors had a caprese salad with San Marzano tomatoes, Mozzarella di bufala and basil. We then headed toward the old Jewish Ghetto where we had tastings in two locations (a dessert from a renowned Jewish bakery and a fried fish dish) and Kat pointed out several ancient ruins, important buildings, and restaurants, and described life in the Ghetto years ago and the impact of the Nazi occupation. We then crossed the Tiber River into Trastevere where we three tastings. These included a tour of the old wine cellar in Spirito di Vino before tasting a pasta and beef dish with wine, fried artichokes at Trattoria Da Enzo al 29, and finally, gelato at FataMorgana. We highly recommend this tour and hope you are lucky enough to get Kat as your guide.

A Trip Highlight - We took the Eternal Rome food tour and our guide,Toni was AMAZING! From the moment she met us, she knew our names, likes/dislikes, and started in with entertaining and pertinent stories. She is a fascinating person. I am convinced that food tours are the way to see a city, and “Eating Europe” was no different. The food was amazing. My wife accuses me of coming to Rome for the porchetta, and it was our very first dish! The tour had a great balance of food and wine, but Toni’s stories and overall demeanor were the real highlight. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Walking food tour in Roma - The experience was just what we were looking for. Our guide, I think her name was Elma was knowledgeable and pleasant. We ate a variety of foods and drank different wines. The walking was less than I had expected, but you do walk a lot. Short distances from one stop to the next.

Highly recommended food tour with excellent guide and delicious local dishes - We were a couple plus an 8-year-old kid on a food tour with the excellent guide Emiliano who was just a champion! All the places we stopped to eat were very delicious and most importantly we weren't in line at all. There was a lot of food and wine so if you like this combination you will join the tour.

Wonderful exploration of the different foods of the region - Everything was amazing! It was my first time in Italy and Luca was so good showing us the different areas and introducing us to some truly amazing food. We had a two year old and a three year ills with us which can be challenging but they are pretty adventurous eaters so he seemed pleasantly surprised. I will absolutely recommend Luca and this tour to all my friends!

Incredible Food Tour! - We LOVED this food tour. The food was amazing and we got to see some amazing places we would never have found on our own. Our guide, Kat, was so much fun. She also had excellent rapport with each of the locations which made seating and service fantastic. This is definitely one of the top things we did in Rome. We can’t recommend this enough- it was totally worth it.

Amazing touring of the real gems of Rome - Amazing time!! We had an excellent morning casually touring the neighborhoods with insider tips and knowledge about the history, culture, and food. Highly recommend this food tour if you’re into history and food/wine! We really enjoyed the good company with Jean Luca. We may have lucked out being a relatively small group and so it was much more private than some big tours we’ve done!
