My Favourite Travel Companions in Tanzania - My boyfriend and I had the vacation of a lifetime with KWESA in Tanzania. We opted for the private package as we are still novice climbers and wanted to get undivided support and attention from the guides. Our host Teacher did not disappoint! Everything was well organized as he put together a great team of guides (Kaluma and Beka), porters and cook to support our expedition, provided us with excellent equipment and enough supplies for our food and amenities that we needed on the trek. We were very impressed by their performance, every action was well planned for and deliberate towards our comfort, safety and successful summit. The trek is really tough, especially the Baranco wall and the section leading to the summit. Kaluma and Beka's invaluable support to battling the cold, altitude and fatigue are the reasons we made it to the summit. In addition they were excellent company who really made the trek special with their care, friendly chatter and professional care. KWESA is the ideal support for expeditions in Tanzania and I will definitely call on them again when I return to Tanzania.

Highly Recommended Kilimanjaro Trekking - A huge thank you to Teacher and our crew - Juma, Fabian and Chris, you were amazing guides! You made our Kilimanjaro trek special and doable, despite the tough terrain, weather and altitude. They took good care for our group of 5 climbers throughout the the trek. They ensured that we were well fed, comfortable in our tents, checked our health and oxygen levels consistently and explaining so much about the plants, the mountain's history and also got to learn so much about Tanzania's rich culture. The Tanzanian people are friendly and easygoing and we got to learn so much from the porters and Chally our cook. His food was really amazing and I wonder how he did it without a fancy kitchen but only 3 propane tanks in his tent. Everyday of the trek was special as we saw amazing sceneries of the changing landscape. We all reached the summit and were rewarded with a spectacular sunrise. I highly recommend Kilimanjaro Wonders Expedition Safari. They are reliable, transparent and highly experienced on Kilimanjaro Trekking

Absolute Best In Kilimanjaro - We are still on tour in Moldova after successfully trekking up Kilimanjaro in Tanzania with KWESA. We are not new to Teacher and KWESA having gone on a safari trip with them back in 2020. Booking was easy and straight forward as Edward was no new to us and thus it was very easy to work together and plan our trip. The actual trek was excellently handled by our crew under the stewardship of Fabian, he was really amazing and knew what we wanted and what to be done at every time. I have to mention that we had great tents, comfortable mats and sleeping bags. They really looked well after us with excellent food, the health checks and were great people to be with. They helped us when we struggled with fatigue from physical torment of trekking at the low oxygen levels, with encouragement and even holding my wife's hand to help her reach the summit. We will always have a special place in our hearts for KWESA. You guys rock and are the absolute best.

Exceptional Trekking Experience - The outstanding services provided by Kilimanjaro Wonders Expeditions Safari on our Kilimanjaro trek were exceptional. We had guides Felix and Musa with us and both were so knowledgeable about the Kilimanjaro route, best way to approach the trek and closely observed a strict service code putting our safety first. They were really genuinely happy to have us with them and made us feel like part of their family. Accommodation was in tents at the designated campsites. The porters were responsible for most of the tasks at the camp, which they did very well and were always eager to help. I have to mention Kilowa our chef who was amazing with the food. We had a very good experience with this operator and we recommend them to anyone planning a trip to climb Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

Caring and Loving People - Our recent Kilimanjaro trek with KWESA was everything we expected and much more. I got to successful summit the tallest mountain in Africa together with my wife and we had the time of our lives as we did the joint attempt. I must say that we were surprised at how physically tasking the trek was. It sapped all our strength that by the time we got to the summit we could hardly walk, due to the cold, low oxygen levels and the fatigue of six days of intense trekking. We were lucky to be paired with guides Brian and Jude. They were very professional and experienced on Kilimanjaro, knowing tha best way to approach the trek, how to conserve energy, coax the body to gradually acclimatize and tale the trek one step at a time. We were in safe hands and with their support encouragement we made it to the summit in perfect health. I love their approach to enjoy each and every step of the journey and not to focus wholly on getting to the summit. They made us realize that journey to the summit was beautiful and we really enjoyed the magical views, the blinding sun over the ice, the strong gusts and the clean mountain air. It is all so amazing, taking the time to reflect on the life choices we’ve taken and whats really important. I strongly recommend that anyone thinking of Kilimanjaro should contact a reputable operator like KWESA who will not only take care of you but also do so with love.

An Epic Adventure With Memories To Last A Lifetime - What an Epic adventure with KWESA. This was my second trip to Tanzania with KWESA after our memorable safari trip back in 2019. We finally came for Kilimanjaro after postponing due to COVID restrictions and it was another fun filled adventure. Don't get me wrong, Kilimanjaro was tough but with having done excellent planning with Edward and an awesome crew with us we successfully reached the summit. We had two guides (Amos and Bulaya) with 7 guides and a cook. They were friendly, experienced and all worked hard towards our quest for the summit. We were well cared for, safe, comfortable and well nourished through the trek. The tents were of good quality and really comfortable given the terrain. The weather was great and we did not suffer from ALS. Thank you KWESA for another wonderful trip!

7-Day Machame Route - We chose Kilimanjaro Wonders/Kwesa as our company, because Edward was always quick to respond to any and all questions we had regarding the climb. My son and I booked the 7-day Machame route, and we expected other climbers to be in our group. Because it was early in the new season, we were the only two climbing (5/28/24-6/3/24). The team they sent with us was comprised of 13 people (head guide (Haji), lead guide (Joffrey), cook, waiter, and porters). Haji was going up for his 420th summit. Needless to say, we were in great hands. Their experience on the mountain showed through every day. Haji and Joffrey went above and beyond any reasonable expectation a client could have for their guides. It was as important to them as it was to my son and I that they saw us to the top of the mountain. We couldn't have accomplished our goals without the support and professionalism displayed by the Kwesa team. Sincerely, David and Jonah Stuckey

I highly recommend Haji and KWESA. - My friends Pablo and Cantina and I recently hiked Kilimanjaro in six days using the Machame route. We had an excellent guided hike around Haji and Kileo. They were excellent and took excellent care of us. The route is very hard but we were lucky to have a good team supporting us. We had good tents, comfortable sleeping bags, and enough supplies for the hike. They made sure we were in good health, ate well, and slept well. We reached the summit in good spirits and enjoyed the views from the top. I loved the experience and I'm sure you would too. I highly recommend the Haji and Machame route.

Kilimanjaro - Off Our Bucket List - We were back in Tanzania with KWESA again, this time for Kilimanjaro. Teacher was reliable and organized as usual, he worked with us as we prepared for the trek, was with us when we arrived in Tanzania and introduced us to our crew. We had Senior guide Jamleck leading seven porters and Kivase our cook. They were all charming individuals and also very experienced on supporting climbers on Kilimanjaro. They deserve all the credit for keeping us safe, in good health and well fed/hydrated at all times during the trek. Getting to the summit was tough. On the summit night Jamleck supported my wife, while Gedi one of the porters was with me. They worked super hard and tirelessly to get us to the summit. I am happy that Teacher doesn't compromise on safety or comfort because we had an incredible trek Thank you guys! Otar and Chika

Pain, Joy, Fulfillment and Victory - Mt Kilimanjaro climb was supposed to be a bucket list strike off for me but it suddenly turned out to be a test of my will and tenacity. My experience is one of pain, joy, fulfillment, victory, a new sense of direction and longing for more adventures. In achieving my climb up the mountain, I couldn't have dont it without prayers and on the physcial side, Kwesa tours was there for me at every step. Kwesa tours is exactly the type of tour guide you need up the mountain. Their team is undoubtedly superhuman and they are there to motivate, cheer you on and generally attend to you. I am glad I choose Kwesa tours as my guide. I surely recommend them.
