Unique extras double the value - This trip was made special by a fantastic tour guide. This trip includes a unique not for general public visit to a lemon orchard perched on the side of the hill overlooking city and the sea. Great food and shopping. Well run, always on time.

Glorious day on the Amalfi Coast with our Walks tour guide Roberta!! - It was a fantastic day with the high speed train that got us to Salerno in 1.5 hrs from Rome, the ferry ride to Amalfi, the lemon orchard and limoncello tasting, and shopping, followed by another ferry to Positano, for shopping, pizza, and gelato. And I can't say enough about our Walks tour guide, Roberta. She was fantastic, knowledgable, and genuinely fun to be around. She even went out of her way to help me figure out how to buy a train ticket back to my hotel after we returned to Rome. She really made the day enjoyable! I recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate attire, with back up. Also, heed the warning about the 200 steps up to the lemon orchard, as well as the many many stone steps involved when visiting Amalfi and Positano. They are truly built on the cliffs of the coast. But it was well-worth the pain in my aging knees. LOL

WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE with THE BEST GUIDE! - We had the most awesome, gorgeous, perfect day with JOHN PAUL, our fabulous guide. JP should be commended for his friendliness, knowledge, constant vigilance, organization, and client-care. What an outstanding individual, and what a busy day. The hi speed train is comfortable, fast, convenient. The 3 boats are pretty much as well. And despite the cost, it was so nice having JO to handle all the logistics, timing, tickets, line-strategy, leaving us to be guided-and-herded through without worry and (that’s what you’re paying for isn’t it?!). The limoncello tasting is fun, delicious, cool-n-crisp on a hot day. The view is extraordinary. Really appreciated JP’s reccomendation of Chez Black in Positano for lunch as not only is it famous, but it was, for me, the best meal had yet in Italy. Sitting beachside with some great pasta, vino, and pictures of famous prior guests was great. But the best part was truly our guide John Paul, who paid real attention to everyone’s needs and questions. And explained everything thoroughly in a way that worrisome, anxious American’s can truly appreciate! 😀

Breathtakingly beautiful! - Rode a high speed train from Rome to Salerno, then hopped on a ferry to cruise along the Amalfi coast. The view was breathtaking and worth every minute! Climbed 200 steps to a lemon orchard to sample limoncello and see the unique lemons grown in this region, along with another unbelievable view from atop the cliff in the lemon orchard overlooking the sea. Our guide JP was fantastic and made the trip very fun! I highly recommend this experience!

Amalfi Coast - Amalfi was beautiful and the tour was great! Our tour guide had to work some magic to rearrange things due to the weather but made sure everyone had a great time. Definitely recommend!

GREAT DAY! - This was an awesome day! The Amalfi and Positano excursions were awesome with great views and beaches! Our host (Mortadella) was great. Don't stress about the 200 steps to the lemon farm - it took a total of 4 minutes! The day we had booked, the train drivers were on strike so it took us 4 hours to get home, impacting our plans for the evening. Tip - Bring your passport for the trains!

Not bad, not great - Guide was great about getting us all on the train and ferry and back, but almost none of the day is guided. The stair climb to the limoncello tasting was a little disappointing since it was a long climb for a quick taste. I wish that terrace sold more drinks or food. I'd have happily sat there most of the day! Also, our second ferry to Positano was not possible, so we were stuck in Amalfi all day. Not the worst place to be, but disappointing. Not their fault as the seas were just too high to go to Positano. And our ferry out of Amalfi was rough (and the last ferry out!). Not a terrible day, but not the day we were hoping for either. Might recommend a different tour with a half day in Amalfi instead.
