- Porta San Sebastiano - Impressive southern gateway to the city of Rome. Porta San Sebastiano, part of the Aurelian Walls built around 275 AD, also marks the beginning of the historic Via Appia Antica. Be enchanted by its beauty and discover the numerous medieval graffiti that testify to the flow of pilgrims over the centuries.
- Parco Della Caffarella - The Parco della Caffarella, now an integral part of the Appia Antica Regional Park, is one of the largest green areas not only in Rome but also in Europe. It is a treasure rich in history hidden among its paths and groves where you can spot remains of ancient constructions.
- Ninfeo di Egeria - Be captivated by the charm of this sacred place that tells the love story between the Nymph Egeria and the second King of Rome, Numa Pompilius. Upon learning of her beloved’s death, Egeria dissolved into tears from grief, giving life to a spring.
- Parco degli Acquedotti - Parco Archeologico dell’Appia Antica - Walk through this vast green area, crossed in ancient times and still visible today by the Via Latina, the oldest road in Rome. A crossroads of the ancient Roman water network, here you can admire the grandeur of Roman engineering through the remains of some aqueducts, some of which are surprisingly still in operation.
- Villa dei Quintili e Santa Maria Nova - Parco Archeologico dell’Appia Antica - At the fifth mile of the Via Appia, you can admire the remains of the majestic Villa dei Quintili, belonging to the brothers Sextus Quintilius Condianus and Maximus Valerius, consuls in the second century AD, who were killed by Commodus, who then confiscated the villa, making it imperial property.
- Mausoleo di Cecilia Metella e Castrum Caetani - Parco Archeologico dell’Appia Antica - This majestic mausoleum is a pagan tomb dedicated to Cecilia Metella, dating back to the 1st century BC. Incorporated into the Castrum Caetani, it remains the best-preserved mausoleum on the Via Appia Antica. Here you can also appreciate the remains of the medieval house of the wealthy Caetani family and the church of San Nicola, of which only the perimeter walls remain standing.
- Circus of Maxentius - Located on the Via Appia Antica, the Circus of Maxentius represents the best example of a Roman circus that has come down to us. Be transported to the past, surrounded by the remains of ancient Rome. The still-visible spine once hosted the Agonal Obelisk, which was moved during the Renaissance to the Fountain of the Four Rivers in Piazza Navona.
- Terme di Caracalla - Built by the emperor of the same name, the Baths of Caracalla were the largest public baths ever constructed for about a century. Today, much of their structure is still preserved. A branch of the Aqua Marcia brought water to the baths through the Antoninian Aqueduct. Small remains can be admired at Porta San Sebastiano.

Great tour, great guide Daniela! - Fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and considerate. Saw many great things with Daniela! The e-bikes worked well…need a little getting used to but definitely cool morning experience.

Amazing and beautiful - Daniela was amazing. Fun times!!! The experience was more than i imagined. The scenery was beautiful for the ride. Not much time in the city with all of the traffic. I would definitely recommend. Make sure you’re in shape somewhat though.

Wonderful guide with a fun ride - Niko was a great guide with a wealth of information told in an engaging style. The ride was through scenic and historic areas that wouldn't be viewable most any other way.

Nice and this tour killed it! - We cheated. We ended up on a private tour with Nico, a great, fun and engaging young man. He also happened to have studied ancient Greek and Latin, and had a degree in ancient history. Talk about someone who could bring your bike tour of the Appianway to life! We don’t have the words to say how much we enjoyed this tour, and this day, and our friend Nico.

A must do cycle tour if you have more than 2 days in Rome - This was an awesome experience. The E bikes made it so easy. Riding down the appian was really special. Daniel was the best guide and gave just enough history and culture.

Great way to get outside of the city - My wife and I took a half day tour with another family which went out of the city to the Appian way and to Roman and Medieval the aqueducts. It was a great way to get out of the melee of the city, and also cooler on the move - the city was roasting! Our engaging guide Nico was great - we stopped at regular intervals where he explained the history of the sites both the legend and more probable reality. I was surprised how quickly we were out of the city and into open countryside full of ancient sites. Great Job Nico. keep it up.

Quickest way to see 14 miles of Rome - We took this tour with our 11, 9, 7, & 5 yr old children & it was a wonderful experience! 14 miles on e-bikes were a wonderful way to explore this historical portion of the city. Our young children did not want the tour to end!
