If you're using Subway/Metro, get off at the Piramide station and take the PIAZZALE OSTIENSE exit. Once you're outside, the meeting point will be on your left-hand side. The check-in begins at 8:15, we depart at 8:30. We use train and cannot wait for latecomers.

Fantastic tour! - This site has been on my bucket list for many years and it did not disappoint. Our tour guide, Sonia, really knows her stuff, along with having a great sense of humor.
It's a beautiful place to visit, and is endlessly fascinating.

High expectations; reality was even better - Ostia was a surprisingly comprehensive archeological site of early pre-Christian Roman Empire era. Our guide was phenomenal. Extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what is known and what is yet to be discovered. I strongly recommend visiting the place if you ever have the chance.

Beat our expectations! - Only a 30 minute train ride outside of Rome, it is a 2000 year old archeological gem. So worth visiting! Much more to see and escape the crowds of the Colosseum. Sonia was very well versed in the area, hit all the highlights, and really brought it to life for us. We got a feel for not only the historical significance of the city, but also a glimpse into how people lived at that time. I highly recommend this tour!

Delightful tour, relaxing, with incredible guide, Sonia - Sonia could not have been a better tour guide. She met us at the assigned spot and check-in was easy. She was so friendly and engaging and incredibly knowledgeable. I wish all our tour guides were this fluent in English and competent. It was a delightful and relaxed tour. The other couples with us enjoyed it as well. it was nice to have an in ectic day away from the hustle and bustle of Rome. Highly recommended and Sonja!

Trip to Ostia Antiqua - Excellent guide —very knowledgeable about Roman architecture and culture. Only issue was finding the meeting point with the guide—I was waiting with another couple thinking we were on the same tour, but it turned out they had a different guide even though their tour was the same time and to the same place—just a slightly different meeting point! Confusion all around.

Missed the group tour - Make sure that you know exactly where to meet your group and what type of sign or other means of identification they will be carrying. Ask to have messages sent as a text message and not to your email account.
