Rome in a day. - We had an amazing day with our Driver, Claudio! He picked us up from our cruise ship and took us to Rome! We started with the Vatican. Then he took us to many places that we would have never known! Like a lookout over the city, a sculpture of Moses by Michelangelo, a hidden overlook of the Roman Forum and much more! Of course we went to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. And along the way he would point out many things like, Julius Ceasar lived there, Julius Ceasar was killed there, there's Circus Maximus and he watched Bruice Springsteen there! Just a wealth of knowledge! Oh, and he took us to a great local spot for lunch where we could break up the day and gather ourselves for the afternoon. All these places we saw, he would drop us off within 10 - 30 yards of them! So we weren't walking in the heat for miles at a time either! I can't say enough about Claudio! He would propose different options and always ask for our opinions. We would decide together and we would go! And yes, we were back on our ship with an hour and a half to spare! Thank you Best Rome Driver for assigning Claudio to us! It was fantastic! Thank you Claudio!

Best Driver - We recently enlisted the services of Best Rome Driver Private Tours, and I must say, our experience was exceptional. Our guides, Giuliano and Andra, were not only superb drivers but also incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, treating us as if we were family. They expertly guided us through each tour, enhancing our experience with their insights and care. Without hesitation, I would rate their service as more than five stars.

Best private tour - We cannot say enough good stuff about this tour group and tour drivers. We used them for our 3 port stops in Italy and all were equally as good. This was our second stop and Paolo was our driver. He was a wonderful driver and our kids said he was their favorite. Paolo was extremely knowledgeable about the area and took us to many ideal lookout points and hidden gems. We chose not to tour the inside of the Vatican (due to time constraints) and focused on the Coliseum and other famous landmarks. Our tour guide at the Coliseum was phenomenal and unfortunately her name is escaping me (she had short blonde hair). Rome is a must see and I am glad that we were able to expose our 3 children ages 13, 13, and 10. I highly recommend this tour group and would definitely use them again.

Excellent tour of Rome - Shore Excursion - Alex Paolini was an excellent tour guide and driver, whom helped us enjoy a day in Rome with 3 kids under 7 and 4 adults. Alex’s vehicle was equipped with booster seats for the kids and was comfortable for 7 passengers. He greeted us at the port with clear signs to help us identify him. He assisted in organizing a tour of the Colosseum, and found a guide that was very well educated and engaging with kids! We appreciated the lunch that Alex arranged for us, and he didn’t bring us to the usual tourist traps, we enjoyed some nice pizza, pasta and pan seared cheese, along with some grilled prawns. Alex planned out an efficient day for our group that included all the highlights in Rome.

Amazing leisurely way to explore Rome - Our guide Alex Paolini was amazing. He was knowledgeable and gave great inside to historical areas as we drove around town. Even learned a few local Italian recipes from Alex! Would do the tour again and highly recommend it!

Spirited, comfortable day tour of Roma! - Did a cruise tour with Alex Paolini and Best Rome Driver. Came highly recommended from Facebook travel grouch and I arranged 4 months prior to actual trip. Setting it up was seamless, paid with a credit card when booking. Alex was very helpful, confirming the time of the pick up the day before. My mother in law hurt her knee and I was concerned with all the walking—he arranged to bring a wheelchair with us just in case it was needed! It was a whirlwind tour (saw all of the majors, just not in depth) until the Vatican/St Peter’s Basilica. There, we had skip the line tickets with a private tour guide, Alessia Colonnelli. She was amazing! Engaged teenage boys x 4 despite the fact that “it was a church” and “it was hot.” Comfortable van seating for all 7 of us. Highly recommend!

Alex is the Best Rome driver! - Alex Paolini with Best Rome Driver was amazing!!! He knew exactly where to drop us off and pick us up in a very crowded setting. He also found us a great little lunch place where we could eat quickly while moving from stop to stop.

Great two days - Best driver with great knowledge a car that was comfortable and he lets us decide the route. He helped us see the most and got us thru the lines.
