Excellent Tour with Retired Archaeologist - I am sorry to see so many bad reviews for this company! We had an excellent tour with Giorgio, who is a retire archaeologist who excavated part of the Colosseum! He was not only knowledgeable but quite a character, and kept us engaged despite the hot afternoon sun. I highly recommend this tour for history buffs!

The best, the very best! - Our guide, Giorgio, is a retired antiquities professional, and was amazing. He is a man not only of facts and figures, but also a great story teller who was able to fill every moment of the tour with the kind of details that take you back to when Rome ruled the world. He was even able to tell us about his young days working on the excavation and preservation of the Coliseum......a magnificent tour!

Excellent Tour with George - Booked via Hotel, Green Line collected us on time. Small group but then it was November. Tour Guide George was Excellent. Lots of information on the history and construction of the Colosseum. George was the archaeologist who worked in the Colosseum for a number of years. As a Civil Engineer I learned a lot.

Redicuolous Waste of Money! - I'm not a harsh reviewer normally, but this tour deserved every bit of this 1 star. We spent more than an hour sitting on a bus waiting. WTF is that?!? 40 people paraded around trying to listen to a walking tour guide. Look somewhere else if you can.

Terrible tour - I recommend everyone strongly not to do any tour with this company as they are just not professional and they live short cuts. Waste of money and time . I wish I had time to read reviews about them before getting my tickets with them. I am hoping manager of this company can hire more professional workers and love to do their job rather than some sleazy people who looks like they are out of the jail and they doing their community service.

Don't waste your time - starting off, to be fair, when I asked the concierge to arrange a tour of the Colosseum, I should have specified a private tour...my fault. but...the initial transport to the bus company was late, then we got to sit on the 'warm' bus waiting for someone or ?? we get to the Colosseum and began our tour. the tour guide was very knowledgeable but I think he wasn't as mobile as needed and we were essentially rushed through the Colosseum, in and out after a quick lap around the upper level. Then, no mention of Constantine's Arch as we rushed up the hill to see something else. gave up our ear pieces at that point and went back to spend more time down by the Arch, the Forum, etc. Could have had a better experience at the Colosseum had we arrived earlier, with RomaPass to skip the line, and then spend the time there. most facts were being addressed via a book he was carrying...thinking we could have purchased the same book and walked around ourselves. I think there was too much stuff packed into a short time with a slow moving guide.
