Mountain biking on large cobbles - We like cycling so to do it on the oldest road with perfect weather was a joy. We could have continued all day for miles more but other arramgements curtailed it.

Adventure and great bikes - The ebike is very good and helped us to travel along appian way, catacombs and also to aqueducts and baths of caracalla because it was easy cycling. The location of this shop is right at the bus stop and near the entry road to st calixtus catacomb so very convenient. Make sure you pick up a helmet as it's a bumpy ride on the appian way. I wouldn't do this if you're over 50 as can be bumpy

Very good bike hire - Very good bike hire in a prime location - right on the Via Appia Antica and bus stop on the doorstep. Good bikes and if the battery goes on strike on a long tour, someone comes round immediately to replace it and the tour can continue. Very nice service. Our recommendation!

Amazing activity! - I loved every minute of this bike but warning it’s rough terrain so Really recommend the E bike! I upgraded to a better bike and enjoyed my experience way more than if I had just had a regular one diffuser spectacular and the scenery is just magical it was so fun to do it on a bike.

The Ups / Downs and Sideways ~ Appian Way - Extremely interesting, sometimes challenging cycling through this ancient Italian landscape!! The ride is slow & go with plenty of side details to absorb. The To and Fro for the trail access was, um, tricky. I have two suggestions: Bike mirrors & lights for safety // clearer Map drawn with graphics (roads, directions, paths) designated. Riding along side the speedy traffic was horrendous for me. Take my ideas please, before someone is hurt. Thanks all, Paul Marinello 06/23

Excellent! - As advertised. They provided a detailed map, and the staff was helpful explaining the route including a detour to Aqueduct Park. Pack a pair of bike shorts, it’s a bumpy road.

Beautiful and difficult - Fantastic surroundings. Great and friendly service from the bike rental ... But... The via Appia and an electric bike was a bad combo. The road itself is not drivable in some places due to the height differences in the stones. The alternative is to drive on a side path. A dirt road with roots of trees and stones. Just wide enough for 1 bike, so there was often a traffic jam because people were stuck. We gave up quickly. Still packed the catacombs. The effort. In the meantime I met five bikers who also called it a night. We did the trip on a Sunday. Which caused extra crowds by local churchgoers and cars. It's too bad. Because the location was super.
