We will start with a stop to visit the mysterious Catacombs and we will follow the Appian Way passing…

We will start with a stop to visit the mysterious Catacombs and we will follow the Appian Way passing by ruins as the Villa of Maxentius and the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella.
Then we will discover the Park of the Aqueducts and its wonderful remnants…A spectacular atmosphere in one of the most beautiful park in Rome!!!
Next stop to taste typical roman dishes and relax in nature in the heart of the Eternal City before departing for one last immersion in nature.
- In the days of Christmas , Easter and 1st of January the catacombs are closed.
- On Wednesdays the Catacombs of Saint Callixtus are closed, so we go to the Catacombs of Saint Sebastian
- To partecipate to the tour you need good cycling experience.
- The food stop can change due to holidays or special events.

Great excursion out of Rome - We had a fantastic afternoon, riding out of Rome to the Appian Way. Our guide Felipe was a great source of knowledge about the area’s history and excellent company as we chatted over drinks and snacks. The bikes were excellent and had no problem handling the short bumpy stretches.

Via Appia at sunset, it could hardly be more beautiful. - Wow, what a wonderful e-bike tour. Adriana, our guide, not only led us to the remarkable places near Via Appia, she also led us into the beautiful sunset, which created a very nice evening mood. I can recommend this tour to everyone, for whom cycling is a pleasure and with the e-bike even a very easy one!

All roads lead to this tour. A must do. - We visit Rome often and have seen many of it sights. However, we’ve never been to the Appian Way for some reason. We made it a point to tour it on this past visit. We had a wonderful time. My partner and I are 60 and in good shape but we were a bit concerned about the e-bikes, but after a minute or two we were on our way and having the best time. The Appian Way is a must see and biking it is a relaxed and reflective experience of Ancient Rome. Please do not hesitate to book this tour.

Great tour, even in November! - The tour we can only recommend. One is very quickly out of the hustle and bustle of the city on Via Appia antica. Very idyllic. The viewing of the catacombs was very impressive.
Of course, it was also great that the tour took place anyway, although there were only two of us. Our guide has guided us great. The next time we visit Rome, we will certainly do another tour!

It was the highlight of our Italian adventure! - This e-bike trip was definately the highlight of our Italian vacation. It was so nice to get out to the green areas of the city. Exploring the catacombs and ancient Roman aqueducts was amazing. Out tour guide Sylvia was outstanding! She made us very comfortable and was wonderful at explaining what we were seeing and very knowledgeable. This trip was a wonderful experience to travel on ancient Roman roads.

Highly recommended cycle tour. - Superb tour. Well-chosen route and stops (catacombs, aqueducts, villa of Maxentius etc). Top quality bikes. Lovely lunch.
And Sylvia our guide was excellent- informative & knowledgeable, caring of our safety and great fun.
Was nice to get out of the city centre and into countryside for a while.

Unique and fun experience - Loved the Appian Way and the tour of the catacombs. Just gorgeous scenery and cool history all around. So cool to see so many historic stops along the way. The e- bike was fun and easy to use. At times it was difficult to keep up due to crowded areas and unfamiliarity with the area. If I could tweak the route I would have cut out the aqueduct park and allowed for a less hectic and more leisurely ride around the more historic areas.
