Once in a lifetime trip in Rome! - This is my second time on this bike trip to the Appian Way but added the catacombs tour too! Our guide Ricardo was knowledgeable and funny! I also got to meet our previous guide Alberto! Both of these guides are amazing. They are patient and careful to guide us through the streets of Rome all the way to the Appian Way! The catacombs tour was definitely worth it. Eye opening and quite a feat to have tombs underground. The archaeologist was insightful and explained things very clearly! I would highly recommend this bike trip!

Very nice experience - The guide was really adorable and super nice! The course was a bit difficult at times you have to be used to cycling (it’s not my case) and especially if I can give advice, do not wear wide pants because it gets tangled in chains!

Fun way to see a different side of Rome - We chose this particular tour to avoid the heat of the hottest day of our trip and avoid having to navigate Roman traffic. This tour begins right on the Appian Way and we spent a good amount of the hottest part of the trip underground in the Catacombs so a win on both points. We were a bit worried about the bumps given all the reviews - we are fairly active but not super sporty but our guide did an awesome job of showing us the best path to minimize the bumps (which our teenager ignored and declared the activity awesome) and stopping traffic when we occasionally needed to cross a road. When we came out of the catacombs we had a lovely ride in the cooler golden hour which felt like a world away from the hustle of Rome. Probably the best activity we have done on our trip across Italy. Highly recommend.

Great way to experience Rome and area. - What a great way to experience Rome and the history of the area, including the Appian Way. Our guide was an exceptionally well informed historian with a passion for his topics. Can not recommend enough.

A must do in Rome - This tour ended up being the highlight of our trip to Rome. Our guide was incredible, knowledgeable, and very friendly. We got to see a lot of the countryside and learn history along the way. Our guide was more than happy to bike at our pace, which was pretty fast but numerous stops for pictures. I don't bike often but the e- bike made it so easy and fun. I highly recommend this tour!

Off the beaten path with Bicycle Rome! - We had a wonderful tour of the Appian Way with Alessio! It was a highlight of our weekend in Rome and felt so special and a bit off the beaten path. Lovely to start and end at the Appia Antica Caffe where we enjoyed coffee and a bite in the gardens. 10/10 would recommend.
