Highlights

Piazza Navona - Piazza Navona is a public plaza in Rome. It is built on the site of the Stadium of Domitian, built in the 1st century AD, and follows the form of the open space of the stadium. The ancient Romans went there to watch the games, and hence it was known as “Circus Agonalis” (“competition arena”). It is believed that over time the name changed to in avone to navone and eventually to navona.

Great time - Sara our guide was wonderful. I take pa lot of walking tour when ever I travel and she was what I hoped for in a guide- friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with ideas for after the tour. I have two things more in the nature of suggestions than criticism. First it could start a little earlier. Ending close to 6 rushes getting ready for dinner especially since we like time to relax after and have a drink before dinner. Second it is a little long, close to 3 hours. There are a few cities like Rome and New York where there is so much it is hard to know when to stop. But I think it would flow better leaving out some details and cutting time
