Beautiful trip Via Appia with good organization. - Kindly helped. Bikes solid and suitable for the bumpy road of the via Appia. Beautiful trip with beautiful Things to do, the catacombs, church quo Vadis, estate Quintili. Definitely recommended.

Gorgeous day along the Via Appia - The bikes are good, comfortable. The Via Appia is gorgeous! But the big stones are hard to bike over (you can go in the dirt path on the side because the patches of big stones aren’t that long). Trust me, you want an electric mountain bike unless you are a pro bicyclist. I did Via Appia and the Acueduct park but there is a stretch in the directions given connecting the two areas that is under construction and closed to all traffic so for a while I had to navigate on my own (a detour was not obvious). The acueductos are nice but I sort of wish spending more time on Via Appia since some of the streets in between were very heavily trafficked and kind of dangerous. But I enjoyed it very much. What would make it even better is if the bikes had a cellphone holder so I can just follow the map while biking and not have to stop every 5 mins to take my phone out of my pocket to look at the map. The attendant was very pleasant and knowledgeable 🫶

To do! - Our Guide Saba was very friendly and very interesting. A beautiful breath of greenery and history was this original exit from the center of Rome!

Via appia by electric bike - Our guide Noam introduced us to the via appia by electric bike. His explanations and good humor allowed us to have a very nice experience. It adapts to the level of participants. This is a great activity.

Great value and fun - Metro then bus to get there. Missed 24 hr reservation window so arrived on spec as family of five. Friendly guy kitted us out with 5 great eBikes inc one for the 10yo. 75eu all in for two hours: great value, and really fun. Got lost but that was my fault; if you prematurely end the Google map route provided, restart it 'from your location' otherwise you won't get turn by turn instructions. Two hours got us down appia antica and round the acqueduct. Tip: reserve if you can, and take ID.

Great ride through the ruins - My son (12) and I rented e-bikes and road down the Via Appia. Very easy riding - bumpy at times but you can easily take the dirt path that parallels in many sections of you want smooth. A water fountain or 2 along the route to refill your water bottles. Lots of fun things to discover as you ride along, stop and take pictures of crumbling villas, arches, gates and walls from 2nd Century +. I highly recommend if want to get away from the sea of tourists and do something a little different. Tour operator spoke perfect English was very nice and accommodating making sure we were comfortable with the route and bikes. Cute little cafe there too if you want a drink or snack at the end.

Best of our trip to Rome - Amazing experience. It is easy to reach by bus from the Colosseum, about 50 minutes. We spent a long morning. It was very relaxing and pleasant to be away from the tourist bustle of the center, knowing such an important area of ancient Rome. Alessio gave us a guided tour of Via Appia Antica, aqueducts and catacombs. The kids loved it. It's worth it if you're with kids. They have bikes of different sizes, and chairs for the little ones.

Beautiful but beware - The Appian Way is beautiful. The bikes we rented were perfectly serviceable. We asked for helmets (they were available but not offered at first). They may or may not have been cleaned between uses. The road is crazy bumpy in spots - be ready for that! Also - make sure to arrange your return transportation *before* you go!!! We were very nearly stranded there on a Sunday afternoon, as there are no taxis and cell coverage is very spotty.

Very cool way to see the viaducts - We loved the opportunity to get outside the crushing crowds of Rome and see the ancient viaducts. The cobblestone roads made the ride a bit bumpy at times but the park was well worth it. The bike rental company provided a recommended route we could follow on our phones. The person who met us and showed us the bikes was very nice and was also eager to make sure we got the most of our time on the bikes.
